Console. Xbox. No problems as of yet. And the mode which removes the possibility of Party chat is pretty good, after all. I enjoy having people in the game chat for once.

Stopping power pro (more damage vs. vehicles

It's netted me a 2.7-something KDR so far. Win!
My main perks are the Bling Pro, Cold-blooded and Ninja Pro, always. They
are essential.

As for weapons. I go for the M4A1 with a Silencer and ACOG scope. Shotgun as secondary weapon. Smoke grenade and that mine that explodes by proximity. Great to put near spawns and objectives in Search and Destroy.

I have to disagree with you there. Me and my mate form the 'forces play at a level of "seriousness" that could do without the usual random people chatting in the team about dogs and random squeals from little kids.

If we notice anyone who wants to actually team chat we'd invite them to the party and usually send them a F/R. Game chat has its advantages and I wont deny it that, but in your average game, you dont actually get game/match related chat, it just doesnt happen.

The thing that struck me about MW2 was the 60fps frame rate.

When you go back to BFBC/BF1943 it does seem to crawl along a bit (only 30fps).

I cannot comprehend how it gets such high review scores everywhere. I mean yeah I am a disgruntled PC gamer looking at the massive downgrade for multiplayer, but aside from that... it's identical to MW1? Some added weapons and perks but otherwise the gameplay is identical? The single player is 5 hours of the same old scripted nonsense and is cinematically less impressive than MW1. Half life 1 and 2 did this far better. Maybe the only thing really new is the spec ops mode but still.

I really don't get it, just goes to show you can't really trust games reviews anymore. Hard to believe over 1 million hype-frenzied sheep already bought this MW1 mod. And those PC reviewers that gave the game a 9+ score really should be ashamed of them selves for blatant selling out because they are basically flipping off the community of clans and modding that dates back to Quake 1 where the mp fps was truly born, and lets not forget who gave us CS one of CoD predecessors.

Too much hassle.

Between: playing in Game Chat and muting the rest of the team, or just staying in Party chat and playing Ground War, it's the latter every time.

'Course there's always times where i'm wrong - not everyone is a whiney little kid out there - but more often than not that is the case, in my experience. I'd say the split is about 60-40.

don't forget the adults who act like kids. I find all the trash talking kids and adults quite humourous . I find the battlefield bad company community so much better and nicer than the COD one.

I did come from cod to bad company so I do like the games, you never know I might be on it during the christmas holidays. I'll check how many of my friendslist are still playing this or have gone back to bad company when I get back from uni in december. If it's any less than 50% playing mw2 I'll give it a miss.

also spec ops is fun, but it's no nazi zombies. I'm more excited about the next treyarch cod set in vietnam than mw2. I can't wait for vietnamese zombies. But all will bow down before bfbc2

Yeah there's that too. Hate it when you get some guy who doesn't talk for the entire game except for swearing down the mic when they die. (okay i swear while playing but i try hardest to turn it off) but then they dont even tell you where they died from or anything.

Would be better off just turning it off.

Yet another Vietnam based game?

Jeez that scenario has been done to death already, same with WW2, lets have the Gulf Wars, and the Afghan conflicts.

Maybes even the Falklands War

Is Search and Destroy still the best way to accumulate the biggest scores, or is it not like that anymore?

No it isn't, I'm not sure which one gets you the most points, probably Headquarters.

Thanks very much. I disliked that about COD4.

Well, put it this way, on TDM, you get 100pts for a kill as well as on Domination, whereas Headquarters you only get 50pts, but then there is the constant points from capping the HQ, which you get mammoth points for actually capping it, something like 250, I think.

It's a toss up between Domination and Headquarters I think.

I've just started using the TAR-21 bling, red dot sight + GL with the PP2000 RDS.

I find ACOG scopes more of a hinderance than a help usually, so stick to red dots. Try going prone with the TAR-21, RDS and GL, and switch to the GL while in prone. The weapon covers the entire right side of the screen!

Try switching to the shogun on the SCAR H! that thing is a beast! And the way he holds it off to the right, it's like a boat just landed and is following you around!

The AR shotguns are really effective actually, even at 30ft. 2 Shots sees most threats removed even at that range, although any closer and 1 shot does the trick.

As for the games sniper rifles. Useless.

No, i like the Underslung shotguns. I'm just not using one atm, it is kind of ridiculous how much screen space the gun takes up but I guess that's a purposeful forced trade-off.

I like the Snipers! I'm using a silenced thermal .50 Cal and it rocks! It's a 50/50 chance for a 1HK, but it's still effective. I dont think I'd like the Intervention as much at all.
