Updated my first post to reflect new stuff. Loving Bling on my main class, makes life much easier. Plus, added AC130 to my kill streaks and sacrificed lower-level streaks. I have to get a Streak of 5 to even get anything now. Im pretty confident in that though, 5 - 7 is easy, 7 - 11 shouldn't be too hard either.

Ours will hopefully be back up later tonight. That may not be true though.

Hay Gaise:

If I'm at my friend's house and recover my gamer tag and then play Special Ops while we're both signed into Xbox Live, will the stars earned carry over when I recover my gamertag on my own hard drive (his hard drive is the one that's in).

I think that the game is amazing.

Loving the campaign so far, and just did the mission on the rooftops. Now that is entertaining. Multiplayer is definitely the most addictive part of the game and stands out from the rest.

Yeah. I now have it one 3 classes, one for my main class which gives me an ACOG Scope + Underslung Shotgun, one on my Reccy class which gives me a Silencer + Heartbeat sensor, and one on my Sniper Class which gives me Silencer and Thermal Scope.

Multiplayer still not working on the PS3.

And Mat, that Bling perk looks awesome.

Singld player is awesome. Just wilalalala was a little less scripted. I love the bit where you are at the airport and you are sneaking around and the other dude has been comprimised, and the guy is shouting out 5, 4, 3, 2 , 1. As soon as he said 1 I pressed it.

Loving the game so far!

Found a decent setup for multiplayer:
M4A1 Red dot sight
PP2000 machine pistol with red dot sight
Semtex
Stun grenade

For the main perks:
Slight of hand pro (Faster ADS)
Stopping power pro (more damage vs. vehicles
And painkiller for the death streak

It's netted me a 2.7-something KDR so far. Win!

M4's good. I've been using the SCAR so much i think im going to make a new class just for boosting up my non-fave weapons. PP2000 owns Semtex i havent used yet but will be trying out now.
I've sort of gone-off Sleight of Hand after getting Pro, it didnt seem to help me much in comparison to Scavenger Pro or Bling.
Stopping Power still pretty much owns the Red Slot though, until I decide to venture into HC. Hardline isn't worth the loss. The only Red slot choice i've got equipped other than SPP is Cold Blooded on my Spec Ops class.

Hey, managed to clock up about 7 hours of play on multiplayer already. Not a feat to be proud of, but I have done it none the less (got it Tuesday afternoon.

Really loving the game, but apart from a few tweeks I can't see a difference in multiplayer. I have yet to play anything other than TDM and FFA, so I won't complain, but then I guess more of the same, but more, was half the point.

I'll add you guys later Mat and Luke, so feel free to add me, Stranderer.

About getting teams together, i've joined a site called www.mw2forum.co.uk where a bunch of guys who love the game, chat and discuss and orgaise games. So if you want friendly gaming, pop in (or click my sig). We are short of 360 players atm so please bring friends.

I posted a mini guide there too on perks and attachment Perks and Attachments mini guide

If you think its any good I'll happily post it here, it just takes up a lot of space (about 2 screens worth, so not mini)

Default Mw2.

...ok, here's my verdict:

Awesome game.
And this coming from a BF fanboy who has never played CoD before.

MW2 is probably the best - and only real - preparation for BFBC2. Trust me, it is, it truly is. The quick gunfights, the regen (a bit), the change in tactics, the Battlefield/Warzone awareness required in MW2 will all be found in BC2. And they are all essential parts of the game for anyone transfering over from BC1.

Anyone else?

Enjoy it, you have till 19th, because after 19th you won't want to play anything else but BFBC2.

Did you experience this on a console or PC?

I cancelled my pre-order (PC) due the multi-player debacle that MW2 created.
