I haven't even tried online yet. I've had a look through the Storefronts and the Auction House, so maybe I should get the auction house achievement soon. Easy gamerscore.

How did you guys complete the Drifter achievement? The one with 100,000 points in a lap.

I had a quick try on Fujimi Kaido in a Shelby Cobra, and it was more trouble controlling it than actually getting it to drift.

I might try drift tuning an RX-7, or using the Top Secret D1-Spec S15.

I was looking at this game today actually, thinking about whether to get it or not.

From what I've seen, it just seems rather block-ish (both in terms of gameplay and graphics). Really can't think of a better way to put it. When you hit other cars it's like you're playing bumper cars at the fair or something. I dunno, maybe the gameplay I saw had damages off or something but it looked rather silly.

as for graphics, i dont no many racing games that look better and run smoother

I got the game 2 days ago and have been having a blast with it(I got the Collector's Edition).If I'm going to be honest,yeah the collisions seem a little fake compared to other racing games.The graphics however are great,especially in beautiful track locations,where the background places look stunning,so do the car models.

rolling around in my Lexus IS F atm, ive fallen in love with it, got it up to s class, goes like schtink, handles like a donkey after 3 sambucas but that doesnt matter right now

I meant graphics in terms of the car. There's no disputing that the backgrounds and such are top notch. If it wasn't for the cars just looking plain odd (again really can't explain in which why they look odd, it just does. Compare GRID with Forza and you will probably understand what I mean), I would probably have bought the game.

The cars look perfect for me, even on a non-HDTV.

the cars look immense and so they should running at 60fps

The Testarossa is an absolute dream to drive, I've fully upgraded the engine, drive train and platform and she's at S-690.

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a supercar that handles beautifully.
