Don't have Sky, would get Virgin but we'd have to dig the road up, which probably wouldn't go down too well with the neighbours.

I'd be happy to pay £15 a month for Sky Sports tbh.

quite expensive though, Microsoft may have deal with SKY to give it to us cheaper.

Yeah, maybe. But I'd be happy to pay £15, better than £10 a month for one channel called ESPN

Yep, it's been launched.

Up for download now. Takes a matter of seconds to download.

I've downloaded it but it gives me an error saying there's a problem with my connection. But when i run a test it's fine. Will forgive it though as it has just been released lol.

They've taken it off because there was a problem that everyone was getting with it. I'm sure it'll be back up in at least a couple of hours, so don't worry about it.

It kept saying that there may be connection problems & most Xbox LIVE users were getting the error code.

Also, I thought Twitter and Facebook were coming today aswell. Obviously, not the case.

I was really looking forward to this when I first heard about it but now I likely won't even use it. I nly have freeview at home which suits me just fine and £15/month for 24 channels seems overpriced. I guess I'll just leave it

I don't think it's over priced when they're HD and via a console.

But I can see what you're saying. Although, I can never see Xbox LIVE having stuff cheap.

it's not even HD though is it? I tried before and it played a clip of Sky News before spitting me back on to the dashboard. The quality of the video was terrible.

Apparently, mine are.

I'm not sure though. There were problems with it so it had to be taken down. I'm not sure if it's up yet.

I also thought Twitter & Facebook were supposed to be up and running today like I previously said but they're still not on I don't think.

Twitter and Facebook can't be accessed unless you have an adult XBL account.
I'll try Sky player later when Sky sort it out but if it ain't HD and the quality was as poor as the clip I saw, then I won't be getting it.

Edit: And if your not in the update preview, Twitter, Facebook and last.fm aren't available until the 17th November.

Oh right, OK. Thanks for letting me know about the official release date for Twitter & Facebook.

I have an adult account, so I'll be fine.

I'll probably get the Sky thing, even if it's just for Sky Sports

If you mean Twitter and Facebook, that should be free.

I've heard that it's for all of the Sky channels.

You will have to pay extra for Sky Sports, it's a premium channel. Unless you already subscribe to it with sky TV I presume.

15 quid for Sky Sports sounds like a bargain to me. Roughly what the price of your broadband is and Setanta was about that price too. Anyway, not sure about the details have to check it out.
