Its simple:

FIFA 09 has become worse as a game since its release, possibly much worse of than FIFA 08 at this stage last year, hence there is a lot of negativity and worry about FIFA 10, even though that can only get somewhat better.

Yet the last PES was so krap that the upcoming one can only get better and by a huge distance.

I played PES 3 and 5 and in both cases they were better than the current FIFA game. Apart from that, FIFA has topped PES every time. I can't describe why, it is, on the whole, a better game. I'd rather have Manchester United vs Manchester City than Man Red vs Man Blue. PES tries too hard. Be a Legend mode - hmmmmmm. I know Liberio Grande were the first game to use this but FIFA were the first to implement. Seven of PES players have nice faces, the rest of them look like a potato has gone seven rounds with Mike Tyson. Honestly.

If you wish to metaphorically stick your lalalalala inside Konami's lalala hole then be my guest. Just not here. Even if I don't like this forum, I dislike PES even more. Good day sir.

I dont fricken understand how you people can play the most un-realistic game named PES. It sucks. How cna you say that its more realistic when it has no animations ingame. The graphics sucks. The gameplay sucks. And you come up and say that its better than fifa. You guys cant afford a next-gen console and try out fifa on it. Thats basicly it. Show me ONE difference between fifa and pes that is better on pes.

If Pro Evo gives us a next gen PES5 with Online gameplay that doesnt lag. PES will be the better game IMO.

Theres no winner or loser, The youngsters will like fifa because Ronaldo looks pretty and the Hardcore football heads will like pro evo because of its realism.

All of the sudden PES is all about the graphics, so funny. The people that used to like the old FIFA games will probably love PES. But we that used to play PES because it was the most realistic game have changed to FIFA now because it is just way more realistic in gameplay (on 360/ps3 that is).

Edit: We also play with manual controls, making it almost impossible to go back to PES now.

Obviously, you never played PES.

Seven players have extreme realistic details, the rest are realistic. For example, when I play with my favorite club Ajax Amsterdam in both games, I see only Oleguer and Gabri with realistic faces in FIFA, whereas in PES the ONLY ONE NOT TO have a realistic face is Sulejmani. The whole team has been scanned, not just one or two like EA always does cause they're lazy.

The growth system has been revamped in 10 so Fifa won't have supermans. I think the fatigue model has been improved also.

We're discussing 09 vs 09 now. I'm sure PES will have a lot of improvements to 10 as well.
