The most reliable way to get it sorted would probably be to send it back to Microsoft to have them fix it for you.

Yep.
The customer support number is in the back of your warranty booklet/manual. Call that (you need the 360's MFR Date, Serial No. and the date of purchase (the first two are on the back of the console, where the Wireless Network Adapter goaes) and you should get a box shipped to your nearest DHL/UPS centre. Put the 360 in there, they'll send it to whatever Microsoft Repair Centre. There they'll fix it and then send it back... Takes about a week... Hope this helps, Maxen13 |

Ring the Store you bought the Xbox from and ask them for the Supplier details. Sometimes you can take back to the store and they'll send it off to a registered repairer.

When this happened to me, I phoned the Xbox Customer support and they were great, one of the best I've ever spoken to.
Just phone them up and do what they tell you - don't try fixing it yourself as you'll probably cause more problems than you had to start with. |

Just phone Microsoft, Remember i think Microsoft will only replace it, if the componant which is faulty can't be replaced and fixed... also remember that it should be in warrenty!
Kaka... Umm.. If it does that then your 360 is giving up, I got a RofD and i switched it off thinking that the scart lead was loose (which i now realise that its 4 lights not 3) and i fiddled around in the back and turned it on, it worked... A month later my dad was one the phone to Microsoft and it got sent away...
