R.I.P. Xbox 360

My Xbox 360 has just got the dreaded 3 red light ring of death, i was happily playing GTA IV when it froze, i tried cleaning the disc, nothing worked and then the ring of death appeared

I hope it's still under guarentee at GAME.

This is why i hate xbox, you might aswell repair it then sell it and buy a better console called the "Playstation 3". Not dissin the xbox but i personally think PS3 is better. Everyone has there own opinions.

Sorry to hear...

I know Microsoft has extended their warranty for 3 years for the RRoD...Contact them and they even pay for the shipping...

mines broke too :-(
takes about 3 weeks or under to send and recive back
i sent mine off last tuesday.

just phone microsoft up and they arrange the free fixing, pretty helpful

The time it takes for your console to be fixed and returned seems to vary; there have been reports of it taking just a matter of days, and others that it has taken weeks (months, even) for them to receive their console back.

I'm sure Microsoft will give you an estimate for how long it will take, if you contact them about it.

when i connected it back and tried to play it i thought the disk tray wasnt working but i had a sticker covering it
