are you sugesting giving us people who actually know what the good guns/perks are no choice and forcing everyone to use the original 5 classes which are nothing short of shocking? i love the fact we have a choice, cause it makes knowing your stuff that much more important, a different gun for a different map can be the difference between winning and losing the game |

Sounds to me like you were getting owned big time so just moaned about anything you could think of. Classes is one of the best things about the game, so much freedom, choice, different setups for different game modes. Brilliant. |

Everyone gets so into the choice of guns and grenades and that depending on the map; I just pick an assault rifle and try blast the lalalala out of everyone
(sniping is incredibly boring)

![]() Infact, I won quite a few games. Moaned about anything I could think of? The air strikes stick out like a sore thumb. Where's the skill in pressing a button and then getting everyone (if they're new to the game) killed on the whole map? -Mateio. I'm much better at Halo But guys, don't start a stupid game flame-war. People have their preferences, and for me the airstrikes and weapon choices aren't one of them. |

Yeah, when I was round at my mates he just got a helicopter and it kept killing us, making it even harder for us to end his kill streak. I dont like how if you do better, you get things like radar to make it even easier

i pressume you were on shipment?
i can understand the hatred of airstrikes on that map, but in general airstrikes are easy to avoid as long as you not in the open what is it you dont like about the choice? is it because you dont know what is the best guns/perks and because higher level players have a larger selection of guns so they can own you? @yarnbury: the whole point of the heli/airstrike/uav is to reward your brilliantness |

whats wrong with that? when you prestige you lose everything anyway the best gun on the game is the mp5(imo) and you get that from the start the second best assault rifle is the m16 which you also get from the start the second best sniper is available from level 3 whats your problem you seem to think that the best players should have lesser guns and the lalalala players should have all the advantages oh and you get a radar telling you where everyone is on you team, and when the other team fires a weapon without a silencer they show up as a red dot, or if you get a 3 kill streak you get a uav radar showing you were everyone is on both teams it seems to me sam you just got nailed by experienced players and your just cluchting at straws taking shots at the game now |

For the record, I didn't actually play online, and the people I was playing weren't exactly 'experienced'. They'd got the game a couple of days before hand.
If becuase I don't like certain aspects you seem to think I'm lalalala then you should really go get some fresh air. Did I ever say I got severely beaten by my opponents? Last edited by Sumo; 06-04-2008 at 03:40 PM.. |

then i cant see how you can even comment on the classes ect single player is like a training exercise compared to online and i/we are not calling you lalalala because you dont like certain aspects, its because the things your complaining about are all related to being killed quite often, inplying you are rubbish at the game and get killed all the time |

fair enough. We all have things that we enjoy / dislike about games and we'll have to agree to disagree. Indeed if I decide to buy this game I may well go on to see that the systems I currently dislike work well but for the time being I'm not too keen.
One of the things I did like though was the ability to kill someone when you're on your deathbed

yes, but it would take you ages to reach the very top
getting to level 55 for a good player takes anything from a days worth of play, give or take a few hours each side, but there are ten prestige modes, meaning you have to reach level 550 altogether to be the very top level, so realistically it would be very difficult for you to get to the highest level unless you had a good level of ability and skill |

you have to play the game online to fully understand how everything works, it will take to long to explain everything if you have no online experience to see for yourself |

i can see why it is not liked by all
i have several mates who play gears of war on their 360s still and they dont like cod they are not even willing to get into cod, which is why they dont like it, its a game you have to learn and get better at, they all played it once/mabee twice and never played it again because they got killed loads they dont want to come out of their comfort zones of gears of war and try something new i think their stupid, but they just wont even try cod, because i think their scared of failure tbh |
