I really can't see them not being free. I don't see how it would work if you eg had to purchase them from the PS Store.

exactly, cause you could just get one person to buy them and then he could invite all his friends into the match to play on that map
there would be to many loop holes i think for them to charge you for the maps, its not like its special content, its like a patch, which imo should always remain free

Indeed, we're talking 4 maps here. Even though it will be a good addition, it's nothing massive, and the game has already been out for several months. If it isn't free I don't see that many paying for it.

And CoD5 is not that far away either.

i could understand if it was additional stuff, but since its online play maps, then its not something that is optional, you would probably have to get them, and i cant see it working if they force people to pay

Doesn't work like that i dont think.
Other players without the map just get kicked and told "you dont have the content required to play this map" or something to that effect.

'Nam would be good, but i dont think that that'll be taken well in USofA.

i dont get an immense return usually, partly because i play s&d
if i played a lot more of the other game modes, i'd probably have a larger amount of kills tbh

Everyone seen the one of the new maps on CoD4 to be released, Chinatown. Looks amazing, I think I love it already, it's soo flashy and realistic

Check out, on Gametrailers, and GTtv.

Yeah looks great, apparently it's a remake of a map from a previous COD game. Apparently Creek is the largest map they have made so far.

but because of the distinct lack of the game actually being better than its predesesor, cod5 will probably have a terrible online community and the game itself will probably be crap compared to cod4 anyway
