Altdoft Crashing - Can't leave

Hi guys,

I have be unable to play WAR for hours now. I accidently travelled to Altdort when I first spoke to a Flight Master. This was a massive mistake.

I've been playing the game for hours with no problems at all - it's been perfect. Now I'm in Altdorf any of the following will happen:

1. The game will take me to the character select screen in under 20 seconds without me asking it to do so

2. No NPC's will Spawn

3. I will fall through the Earth.

4. If by some miracle I get on a helicopter to try to get back to Nordland, the unskippable cut scene shows me flying over the castle, when I get out of sight one of two things happens:

A. The sound loops and it's time for an Alt-CTL-DEL and I get nowhere

B. It takes me to a black screen with the login music playing, again ALT-CTRL-DEL time.

I literally can not get out of Altdorf and I'm going insane. I've reinstalled the games, uninstalled and updated drivers - this is not a problem on my end. Lots of people are having the exact same issue.

Anyone have ideas?

Have you got the checked your system against the recommended system requirements? I have fell through the earth a variety of times but summoning steed sorts that out.
