yes it does, i did my key yesterday and got ok email from them. and its working today.

its probably the new iq test thats been put in place, if you dont follow the intructions it wont let you on the servers. for new people you follow the instructions under register. if you have an account but cant remember password then you request new password. if you have box and had an account already eg,during beta time, you login to your account and add key which makes it full account.
subject to passing iq test its pretty easy.

Don't question my intellect child! Neither my loggin or password is being accepted. I have e-mailed the so called customers services more times than I can remember, they confirm they are correct, but STILL I am denied access.

I do not, and never have had a beta account, so no conection there.

theres nothing to question, lets work though this, you brought the box version, you go to the website and you registered an account ? when you click on the option that says PASSWORD FORGOTTEN are you saying it does not send you email with password?

It does indeed send the password, unfortunately I still keep getting the same refusal, (Authentication Failed), this is after copy and pasting to avoid case error.

I am a regular player of WOW and have, in the past played Lord of the Rings Online, Everquest 2 (difficult to register at first but mastered after a short time), Age of Conan, and Nightfall. Apart from Everquest 2 I have had no issues with these other software items.

Also, these other companies offer a responsive customer support service. Even World of Warcraft can be contacted by telephone if necessary. But Warhammer is only contactable on their web pages via their help page. But they don't appear to read anything you send them, it all appears to be automated responses.

Here is Warhammer's respnse I sent them about my loging issues:

We are responding with a multi-point answer to your query as there have been many changes and developments over the last few weeks and we would rather provide you with the fullest response possible, so we that we are more likely to address the issues you are having.

If, after going through all the information, you still have a problem please resubmit a ticket through the help form on the website. Where possible, please choose the correct category so that your ticket can be directed to the department who can best assist you with your issue and to ensure a speedier response.

To avoid delays, we’d urge you not to submit multiple tickets on the same issue.

REGISTRATION, ACTIVATION & LOGIN ISSUES:

Before you can access the game, you need to register on the website and then, once you have received confirmation of your registration via email, you can either login to the website and go to MyProfile to enter your CD key or click on CODE button to authenticate your CD Key. You will receive an email to confirm authentication.

You must have registered with us and have a confirmed account before you can authenticate your CD key.

Registration Issues

Common issues during registration
·Errors when entering the Captcha code (the numbers and letters you are asked to copy when registering)
oIf you are using Internet Explorer 7.0 try using a different browser such as Firefox to try and complete your registration
oLots of display issues on our website can be resolved if you clear out your browsers cache, cookies and browsing history

·Error when clicking confirmation email link. Once you have clicked on the link in the confirmation email, you don’t need to do this again, and you will get an error if you do.If in any doubt whether your account is set up you can try and recover your password here

oHaven’t received the registration confirmation email. Depending on the registration volume in our system the confirmation email can be sent between 1 minute and several hours. A registration that has been not confirmed will be discarded after 24hrs in which case you will need to register on the site again.

Note: try to register at night or early in the morning during the week if you experience any delay in receiving the registration confirmation email and/or key activation email.

Hotmail users: the delay experienced may be larger than expected due to some restrictions from hotmail side, in this case we advise you to use an alternative email provider to set up your account with


Issues with CD Key Activation

Please note that you need to successfully activate your key in order to play the game, otherwise you’ll get an Authentication Failed error when you try to login to the game via warpatcher.exe.

In order to make sure that you can access the game, log on the website and click on “my profile”. If the Gemstone next to my subscription is red, you can’t access the game.
If it’s green, you can! (Note: If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use our password recovery form available here)


Common Issues
oSome of the characters in the CD Key can be hard to read - please consult the FAQ available on our website in the “Help” section here for some common mistakes
oActivation fails.

Login Issues

Make sure you launch Warpatch.exe when you launch the game.

Note that the characters created during the headstart have not been deleted nor will be deleted when you upgrade your account with the game licence.


PAYMENT/BILLING INFORMATION:

There is no free trial for WAR for the moment. If you want to play the game, you need to purchase an online license or a box from your videogame retailer. This entitles you to a month’s free subscription.

You will be able to purchase a subscription period soon, which will be available before the end of your free subscription period. Please check the website regularly to be kept updated about this.

ok so are you sure the user name is right, lets face it the system that sends the email with the password is hardly going to send you one thats not right. reason i ask is last time i saw someone saying how bad ea system was on bf2 he then had to admit he had wrong login name. ive just done a password recovery to see what it does, and it sends email with your display name and your login name with a link to get password. The email you got will be standard email, most poeple just do recover pasword when they cant login and go from there.

I gave up on trying to recover my old account password cause i was getting no were with there responce time so i made a new account with my folks E-mail basicly hoping when i get it to work i can get in touch and change the email to mine after . Good plan i throuhg but hwo wrong i was....

I made the account 3 days ago... but still have not got a email to say the account is working and i have made it cause every time i try to make a new one with the same e-mail it is already taken... This is horrable ... when i brought the game i through looks it's been over a month any major launch problems will be fixed.. but just guide over fourms here and fan sites there just seems to be no end to people being tortured on the EU side just to play it...

Why isnt is as well set up as the US side... just breezeing through what they got they hardly had any problems.... why are we getting stuck with a 3rd rate company (GOA) trying to set this up.. and and this really takes the cake they only seem to be alive in the week not the weekend... does EA really have this much faith in there product they can just shoot themselfs in the foot like this ???

1st the dead space PC floors and now this.... T_T some one make the hurting stop and give love to us PC users T_T
