I should stop being smug shouldn't I. There's no bloody use. These consoles rock equally. Each both have numerous hardware problems and numerous good points. But here's a console who people often ignore that is rare to get hardware problems. Wii. I got my wii in the early days when there were only crap games like wii play. So I sold it out of bordom. I'm regretting that now.

So, it doesn't have any hardware problems, and has got numerous good points(like burning carbs whilst shooting some zombies ). So basically, we should be aweing over the wii. I don't see no red disc tray of death light (lol old360 reference) and mass overheating (lol PS3 reference)!

I like the PS3 because it's a far more powerful console. The Xbox has its merits, such as achievements, however I think with time and more games the PS3 will take the lead, especially after winning the High Definition war. It just takes time for companies to make game engines etc advanced enough to truly test the capabilities of the PS3.

I prefer the PS3 because you don't have to pay to play online where as with the 360 you have to pay an annual fee of around £40-50 which I think is just plain wrong!

my word!!! i really appologise if these issues have bin addressed in the 2nd and 3rd page.. but the discussion about 360 on the 1st page is absolutely a bismal! im sorry but alot of you people seem to no jack about the console.

the premium system IS the same as the arcade / core but with a hard drive...

EVERY model of the xbox now has an hdmi port.

the elite holds absolutely no advantage when it comes to red ring stuff.. the only differnce is what you get in the box when you buy it (eg bigger hd, a black spray job and a funky audio lead to hook it up to some surround systems) thats about it.

as for the ps3 v 360 argument... the ps3 IS a more powerful system but the xbx has superiour everything else... allbe it im not a fan of paying for the live system.. but im a tight *** hehe, + the idea of having live messenger built in is a massive advantage just for the fact as soon as you start it up... you have a load of friends already, and its really good for 1st impressions... i've had a playstation 3 for ages now... yea its nice to have 42' internet browser on my telly but everytime i try to do something, theres a new update - with my internet connection (only about 1mb) is quite annoying, cause it takes forever to download.

as for actual playability of them, 360 controlers are much comfortabler, my oppinion obv.. and i've bin a sony man since the ps1... so yea, i'd say im solidly converted to microsoft..

ps anyone who has there 360 standing up vertically needs a slap... the amount of scratched disks i've seen purely because of this is insane... seriously, one tiny knock while your playing when its vert will kill your disk.. lazer burn to the extreme, then bring it to my shop to fix? hehe.. seriously.. just lie it down somewhere out of the way of the floor, or stomping things or butterflys.. the thing is way to delicate...

360... XBL should be made free, but I see why they have made it payed..

Xbox has cons and well as pros

Cons:

• I fried the 360 in a month
• XBL costs
• You can only a certain amount of friends before they reject them (50 is max)
• Certain amount of cheaters
• You get certain games that is only for the 360
• Its not 'Motion Sensored'

Pros:

• You get certain games that is only for the 360
• There is a File a Complaint section (for all those people that cheat)
• You can add a Submit player Review, which if you add a bad player review it will lessen the chances of playing him/her again

(Some body can add Pros and Cons of a PS3 as I've only played the PS3 on launch day)

but for gold members, that is untrue because one of my friends
has 75+ friends of his friends list.
