I've had a full trade pile for three days now. I'd made a TON of coins selling a certain consumable for 3k BIN (with a 2k SP) since the game came out. Never had a problem selling 15 a day at 3k. I've lowered my price CONSIDERABLY...I now list at 1k with a 2k BIN and can't move a CARD. I listed them all overnight here in the US so the morning weekend players in Europe would have a shot to buy (a solid US strategy that worked well last year and so far this year), I sold none. I then listed again this morning during the Chelsea game to end with the Arsenal game, I sold none.
I'm absolutely AMAZED! I've got 20 of this card in my trade pile, and another 20 of them purchased in my watchlist waiting to be moved, but I can't sell any. I can't even sell a Frey 89 GK (was an automatic sale at 9950 sp, 14950 BIN) since the game came out) at 12k BIN. I'm wondering...is everyone else having these problems? It's almost like it was on UT09 when the FIFA10 demo came out. The community lost all it's players and it became impossible to move anything as there were simply no buyers around to spend. EA will never release the numbers, but I wonder if the avg players per 24 hours has dropped so significantly during the MSpoint ban as a result of the glitch that there's a complete lack of players playing the game anymore. |

Same here, doesn't feel very good, upside is I have a lot of good players in there I can use.
Downside is, I don't want to. For me this happened 2 nights ago, nothing sold, then again last night, we'll see when I get home if I've had any more luck. A Gabby for 26k, come on!

I'm pretty sure it's just that removing the buying of packs has created an extreme buyers market. A lot of people are saying the market is broken, but I'd just wait for EA to restore the packs 'cause I'm betting the market will return to normal.

I actually think it is more down to the reducing of pack prices as to why in the last 24 hours it has gone down so dramatically. The PS3 market is suffering too atm, which makes it NOT glitch affected.Once again the contracts etc, in a pack have become less valuable as more people are buying them while at a reduced price, and therefore do not have to purchase them off the market as they are buying their own packs
Personally i think a price rise is likely again after st. patricks day as the packs (and therefore cards) will double in value.

It was happening before the lower priced packs came out. Though even with the lower priced packs, without people buying with MS points, I would still say that there's been at least a 60% drop off in packs opened...if you include the loss of glitch packs, then the total amount has to have droped by 90%

I also wonder how many people who used the glitch are still actually playing now that they can't get anything they want at any time.
Usually when something "free"/easy becomes costly and difficult, people stop partaking. Think about it this way...if Facebook started charging a fee, how many of their users would dissappear? |

Im PS3 and there has been a problem in the last 24hours.... but nothing before that. It's not too bad, I'm still making profits etc, however i think it is now becoming more.... competitive?
In refernce to your comparison with Facebook - The difference is that they wanted to play the game not knowing they were going to be free and agreeing to pay for the packs, and the fact they didnt have to was a bonus. If facebook was to charge I'd leave as at no point did I ever intend to pay for that service.... Yes pack opening has declined ON XBOX, but PS3 has never had that problem, and we are still experiencing a normal market. The issue is that these dicounted packs has prob. doubled the number of packs being opened, doubling supply, halving costs. Surely its a simple thing to see! As for xbox.... thats more complicated. I'm purely talking about the PS3 market :-)

I'm guessing EA had to lower pack prices so that they could try to get coins out of the game. This would've been because the glitchers amassed huge amounts of coins from opening gold packs, which in turn led to the insane prices.
Or it could've been just because they felt sorry for taking packs for cash out of game, I dunno. But I bet things get better when they fix the glitch. |

To be honest, I think people are just fed up with the bugs and have therefore lost interest. I was addicted to this when it came out first, but now all the problems have come out, I have gone back to my other games. I'd play this mode to death if it didn't have some many problems.
I really think people have had enough. We've paid to be beta testers. This was NOT ready to be released. I'd prefer to have waited an extra month for something that actually functions properly.
