Be A Pro: Too Powerful?

I enjoy the Be A Pro mode but it seems that if you create a player your low starting ratings aren't reflected in the game play. My created player starts with like 65 speed and little acceleration but on the pitch he is as fast as every other player. I am playing on professional. Is it different on other levels? His overall rating starts as like 50 but I don't notice much difference between him and his English teammates.

Do you guys who have played like an entire career or tournament with a created player find there is a difference in how your created player performs as you boost his ratings?

Well, i'm annoyed I couldn't reduce his defence stats when he was a winger, so I lacked pace. There is alot of differance when you get to the Euro Finals, the speed of players and strength is alot differant. I find passing and skills stats are basicly no point being there, same for every player basicly, 90 overall or 60, it's still you passing it in that direction. I just went back to Euro 08 yesterday and started my second CYC, with continued career. So now my player's overall is at 70, it seems abit differant. But i'm annoyed that as i'm a winger, your rating is normally terrible. My positional play is always 9 or 10, passing is normally 90% and dribbling around 85%, but because my job is to put in crosses and you rarely get the computer in the box. I lose my ratings cause of the computer as no one to cross to. And plus it's very difiuclt to tackle as teams like Macedonia pass it about.
