Goalkeepers

I love this game don't get me wrong, but something that fustrates me are the goalkeepers and the incapability to running to the ball. I've conceded many goal because the keeper doesn't get to the ball in time and the opponent scores. Please fix keepers in Fifa 09.

Goalkeepers aren't running up to the ball, eh? I think I know what your problem is... Maybe...

Next time you want the Goalkeeper to run up to the ball... If you are on 360, press and hold down Y. My only guess for the PS3 would be press and hold down Triangle. However, it tells you what to do in the game manual, so if you have one, you might want to check it out.

Thanks but no thanks, I've known that for years. I guess when you play the games as much as I do you notice the little things. Anyway I heard that fifa 09 will have improved goalkeepers and keepers will be able to challenge players 1v1 and so on, sounds good

Learn not to commit your defenders so hastily and don't give up so many 1 v 1's.

Goalies are fine. I'd hate to see them reverted back to fifa 08 insanity.
