Using France is cheating

I've has SO many people pick france online its just getting boring!

France is too fast and just too good.

France is like Barcelona and Man-u as they were in FIFA 08, Where nobody wanted to pick them and if you did you were a noob.

EA really went crazy when they were adjusting the player settings for france...

I hope FIFA 09 doesn't have this.

Say like you pick Portugal vs. France
OK THE GUY CONTROLLING FRANCE;ALL HE DOES IS RUN AND RUN AND RUN WITH HENRY

And no one can catch up becuase you know why?

He too fast.

It's just so f***in annoying

You have to think that not only one player cant take the whole team. In france every single player, but one, has a star on them. Check france's ratings, all thier speed is above 80.

france is too overrated in game but it's much fun to beat them with montenegro ^o^.

anelka & henry are what cause the damage, maybe ribery

quarsema & ronaldo are just as lethal. add some nani & deco & its about the same

i can make portugal have 1 player without a star on their team too.

i think ronaldo is enough to change any game

i tend to give people a good match and win much more often then not with...

TURKEY =O

i played like, 7 matches today, 3 quit out at 3-0 to me, i win 3-1 twice and 4-1 once, (going down 0-1 each time, gd old turkey) then finally lost 3-2, i had a great day today! im glad the balance of players is much tighter and how it really is, now i can use turkey in 09 and galatasaray too! no more barca for me XD

Anything below 4.5* I can beat without trying as France so if I was you I'd pick a differnet team against France. E.g. France

If you play a deep formation in a 442 your 2 midfielders drop deep enough to pick off any balls to France's frontmen.
Then use strikers and wingers to counter attack.

i'm playing euro again and i echo the original poster's sentiments but if you play deep defence, you should be able to cope

the true problem is that players with average skill are often made to look better than they are due to their average skills being enhanced by the computer.

i like to term these players as lacking substance. their the kind of players that have learnt all the celebrations but have no skill @ the game.

i use Spain & am often over-powered & out-paced by France but their far from impossible to beat. i beat France the majority of times as most of the people that use France all play the same way, they expect you to play "default" or above meaning that your fullbacks will be out of place & they will be able to take advantage with Henry & Co's pace but they often can't defend themselves as they rely so much on their attackers. as long as you have an adequate offense & learn how to set up your defence you'll be good to go.

i'm now in the top100 (mid60's) & have a rule. i don't play players that choose France if their outside the top 250, a player has to earn their way to being France imo & even then the cockiness of these players is stupid.

ill ruin anybody in here no matter what your rank is wether u pick france,sweden,montenegro..england..it doesnt matter to me!ill chose my good ol' oranje

...the strikers robben and van nistelrooy are both 87's gold stars..ill chip ur goalie and it will leave him standing at his feet motionless

...BUT i have to say EAsports over-did france by a mile.
