Team Mentality - Discussion - Help

Hi. I would like some answers about team mentality

1)can anyone tell me what means these?:

Defensive Line in Normal-Deep-High Setting
Closing Down in Own Half - Full half - Normal

2)what are the advantages and disadvatages on theses changes (each one)

3)when i edit mentality and create my custom mentality i can see on top right side that defence line and closing down are in "normal" option. How can i change it? even if i change previsouly these options when i edit (with Y on xbox 360) it still say "normal"

Sorry for my bad english. I would like to know anything you know about mentality

Normal- Deep- High for defensive line, its where your defend line will be, Deep meaning closer to the keeper and high away from the keeper, it depends on how u play, advantage of High is easier to get em offside and to pressure, but a good thru ball can get u, deep u wont get em offside but its easier to defend.

Closing down means if your team will start defending on your Own half,

full pitch means they ll start pressuring when they get the ball in their own half.

This is what i'm struggling more.
This is definetely a bug. If you use a custom mentality you can't set those settings but it's supposed you should be able to do it anyway after. Unfortunately this doesn't work. For example, if you select your custom team mentality, than you change defense line to high and counterattack "yes". But if you just switch tab or if you go on the match than pause again and come back to team mentality, you will see those settings turned back to "normal" and counterattack "NO".

This make me really upset, also because i think about all the new tactics options that will be available in Fifa09.
Please EA, don't just claim you will put thousand of tactics options, let people to be able to use it too!

I don't know what to say but I suggest using

All out attack, Counter attack:YES, and 3-4-3 formation

WORKS GOOOOOOOOOOOD if you like attacking ALOT

If you are in a game with lag this can create problems as your defenders run at the attackers by default leaving the opposition players unmarked; you need no lag to get your defenders to run back immediately.

I see....but I use man marking as well
