My thoughts on the latest game ...

OK, I'll come clean here. I've never really loved the Tiger Woods series, or hated it. I like it, but I'll play maybe only one hour a week or something like that.

So it was with great surprise that I found myself going to the shop and buying the latest game for £38 after loving the demo to bits.

Soon I found that it wasn't all that great. Granted, the controls are amazing, but the 'My Career' mode is absolutely diabolical. I can't get even 1 under and after getting about 10 bogies will end up with something like +20 for a final score. Now I've just taken to playing practice rounds in the mode so I don't get annoyed and chuck my controller across the room when everyone's 10 shots ahead of me or something even worse than that.

It might be I'm just lalalala at this game, in fact it probably is. But why didn't EA cater for people like me? That just want a quick round, enjoy it. I should be able to play as someone else through their career, maybe Sammy McIllroy or anyone. And another thing - I don't want all these cut-scenes. By the looks of it I can't turn them off. I spend about the same amount of time skipping the cut-scenes than actually playing!

Your in the excact same boat as me i havent really played TG series before as i havent really enjoyed them, but i played this demo and loved it loads i played it quite a bit playing the same four holes over and over again. So i went out purchased the full game and im bored of it i cant win and you play the same course 3 times over im sorry but that bore's me but at lease i know now i wont be purchasing any more TG games.
