The Shop

I am really frustrated by the fact that the instruction book that comes with the game is of little or no help ooutside of the "basics". I don't know where to go to get more info on all the "extra" parts.

Can anyone help with the shop.

a) Some items have a dollar sign next to them. They don't seem to cost more than other items so what does this sign indicate?

b) Is a higher level piece of equipment always better than a lower level. For instance is a level 4 driver with no bonuses better than a level 3 with luck and power bonuses? (I am assuming the little icons next to some equipment indicates bonus for using, although it would be useful to know what is what).

the higher the level the better. if its anything like 07, the luck and skill stuff will be transfered to your new driver or if not can somehow be manually transfered.
