When in the Tiger Challenge mode on PS2 after completing the first set of Hex (all with gold) can anybody assist me or give me an explaination of why it won't allow me to progress any further through the Hex's? Thanks in advance.

Have you made sure you've done the centre of each "honeycomb". You have to complete all the games in each one and then it should let you go onto next one. There's 90 odd games on the Tiger challenge and you must get gold, silver or bronze to move on. Once you've completed this you have to do the first year PGA tour as a rookie. If you do the fedex cup out of the PGA tour it only counts as a practice and doesn't actually count. Hope this helps

Well obviously not the "amateur year" cos I just finished that, including winning Q-school, and qualifying for the pro tour and still can't get out of the lower left 7 nodes of the hexgrid. What gives? Do I have to complete a whole year of the pro tour? That'd be daft.

I've got it on xbox 360 but guess it would be the same. You can do all the tiger challenges without ever playing in the pga tour. Once you've completed a challenge and got either bronze, silver or gold then you should be able to go onto the adjoining challenge to work your way around the outside of the grid. You must do all the hex's around the outside before you can progress into the middle and eventually to tiger woods. Hope this helps?

Thanks for replying. I enjoyed doing the "amateur tour" anyway. In case anyone else looks at this thread and has the same problem I found the answer on a USA forum, and it is of course (insert expletive) stupidly simple - you move north-east in the hexgrid by pressing up and right arrows simultaneously. One is fooled by the fact that this is not a necessary move until you finish the SW corner group of challenges and the only way out of that corner is NE.
