So do I, that game was incredible! SUPER UBER!
I haven't heard anything as yet, but DJ Atomika does drop a hint in the BurnOut Paradise demo that the snow's on its way and the slopes will be ready for boarding this winter - so let's hope that this means that there will be a 'next-gen' SSX! Phenom |

Exept there made by neversoft. No offence to them but its P))()^^$&*%&^^**^&*( It would be cool if its brought back, I love playing on my PlayStation 2 version until it starts shaking around due to being overplayed. |

A new SSX on the most powerful machines wouldn't just be BIG, it'd be HUGE, lol
Definitely more like SSX3 though. That game was amazing, with On Tour being a real mis-step, and not a scratch on it. SSX3 did a far better job of capturing the atmosphere of snowboarding that you might expect. Comparitively, OT was disappointing.I don't doubt Atomika though, as he served up great radio, and tunes during the game. If he says there's snow, and Mac's the source, it'll be time to hit the slopes again soon (I very strongly hope! )

Had all the SSX games for playstation and been wanting/waiting for a next playstation instalment for ages (whats with the wii version? anyone played it? whats it like?), was not keen on the TOUR version if being honest, did not like the dodgy menu system and weird drawn graphics, for me they did not fit with the ingame style, was not keen on the annoying metal music neither, drop the metal get down with some proper tunes, but once playing it was more of the same and for me in the top 5 ALL TIME series on PS2 and since I completed over 100 ps2 games (most on hard where possible, the hardest difficulty allowed at start) and owned pretty much the best of every game, so top 5 seires ( 1-2-3 installments not a one off) that a considerably good compliment.
Bring back SSX to playstation, you know it makes sense. PSN LFC-LEE Sony Beta tester. |

Hey guys. I too used to love the ssx game series, but unfortunately, Peter Moore from EA gave a statement that ssx was too hardcore and pretty much said it will be discontinued as people prefer to play big head tennis. I don't think that at all, infact, I have created a petition to send to EA when it has enough signatures! I really want the SSX series back, and I'm guessing you probably do to, so please go to www.livepetitions.co.uk/ssx . I also have a bebo group set up called www.bebo.com/bringbackssx so if you happen to have a bebo account, please join.
Alone we can only achive so much. Together, we can bring back what we've lost! |

I would love to see SSX back on the PS also. Saw and advert for some new snowboarding game on the Wii the other day and it made me think of SSX. It was one of the best games I've ever played on the console.
I'm not sure if this was in some of the later versions of SSX or not... But can you imagine SSX online?! Mental!

The game you were thinking of is Shaun White Snowboarding, which is rubbish from what i've heard. If SW falls flat on its face, it would give an SSX comeback more momentum, especially if it's good.

Shaun White is alright. It feels alot like the original SSX, but it's still not as good. I also have it on Wii and the balance board is a good addition, however it's almost impossible to be consistant in the tricks.

I loved using Psymon in tricky and his Super Uber trick, "The Guillotine". When you are spinning away in a Rodeo or Misty, this trick looked absolutely unreal.
I also liked Marty or Mac, can't remember which one. He was cool as well. (Mac and Marty are cousins. One appeared in the PAL version, the other appeared in the American. Same skills, different name.)
