I had just started playing Galactic Adventures (maybe only fifteen minutes into the game), and suddenly needed to leave the computer unattended. I paused the game and came back after maybe less than an hour.
I unpaused, and suddenly, the screen went black, and the soon the screen size shrunk, the game reduced from full screen to a smaller window in the middle surrounded by black space. I quit the game, came back, and the problem still remained. I've restarted my computer, removed and replaced the disc--to no avail. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I am using Windows Vista. |

Try to change the screen resolution under the options. Think it's graphics options.
Usually, if you have a widescreen the normal resolution will be 1440x900. If you have a normal 4:3 screen, it will be 1024x768. Ofc you can turn these higher if you want, but that might cause your game to run slower. Remember the number is the number of pixels (squares) that are shown on the screen, so if the number on one of the side is higher compared to the other number, it means the picture will be that much wider on that side. |
