Uninstall spore

I want to uninstall spore but dont want to lose my saves and creatures is there a way i can say remove the save data before i uninstall SPORE.

Make a copy of the "My Spore creations" in your documents folder and the "Spore" folder in program files. I think that should do the trick.

I tried that. Lost half my creatures though, when I came back and tried to resume on a fresh install. The creature browser and online updating is so shoddily written that you just end up with a mismatched mess of random creatures it decided to keep and some that just never show up because you've "already downloaded them".

Part of the reason I didn't bother trying to re-install for months.

god i copied all needed data, re-installed spore and what a caugh-drop. ALL my months of hard work of saves, creations and my massive save game all gone. You cant add any of your previous data baclalalalail EA create a patch to do so.

But for some reason if u ever do in future, uninstall it, copy your data for future patches. (EA c'mon release a patch to solve everyone prob of this)

I tried it - just to be sure - by putting all of my stuff on memory stick, installing it on another computer in the house, and sticking my stuff in.

Of what should've been 132 creations, I recieved a whopping NINE! I would've been soooo annoyed if this was me transferring my saves to a reinstall after say... formatting my computer.

DO NOT DO IT, JUST WAIT UNTIL A PATCH OR FIX. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

If you've already done it, you'll have to download everything slowly off of Sporepedia, but for things youve not shared... you're screwed.

yeh happened to me, downloaded individually each creations... yawn, took ages and then placed in each specific folder nd renamed each file. Then in spore, had to edit the creation slightly and saved as my own, so spore said it was my own.

Saves dont work when transfering

nooo!! i h8 it! all my saves have gone! i cba to start all over again so im keeeping off spore 4 while till a solution comes out. Ill keep trying tho XD
