Game Doesnt Respond when i start it

I have Windows Vista whenever i try to start spore it crashes and says that spore is not responding. I've tried reinstalling it sevral times and its never worked. On another computer using windows XP and the same copy of spore and the game worked fine (i have a retail copy by the way.) I also had creture creator trial edition before i installed the game. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this problem. Also i was wondering if i buy a copy of spore through steam would it solve my problems?

try right clicking and running as administrator on the launch icon

nuke, use edit!

have you tried to delete EVERYTHING that have to do with spore? (saved game, C&C and GA if you have, and everthing else)

1. go to controll panel then the delete program and delete spore
2. go to spore map then DELETE the EA map (unless its other games there, if its other games you have to delete spore map
3. reinstall
4. IT WORKZZZZ (if it dont work i got no idea)

Have you tried running in compatibility mode? I'm still on XP so if that function isn't available on Vista then I apologise.

how would i get rid of creature creator, cant find it in the control panel

look in control panel/uninstall programs, see if anything spore related is there, if so click uninstall, then reboot pc, then look in program list if nothing spore is there now then reinstall spore and try to run, if still no joy then its prob a driver issue, either with graphics card/video card or directX, update all then retry
