Spore, Spore GA and EADM

I have Spore installed and EADM, however I cannot download patches to Spore. EADM shows I need to download Spore despite the fact I already have it installed.

If I try install Spore GA, it claims Spore isn't installed, which is bizarre as I can play Spore quite happily!

probably because you didn't install spore to the default location. (if you did then there's a registory error, which you'll have to fix by reinstalling spore or edditing the registory if you know how[I don't recomend this unless you're a pro])

to patch spore with EADM however you open spore and it patches automatically, opening the EADM on its own will not work due to their patching system.

spore did eventually patch itself - not tried installing GA after this
