Default spore Galactic Edition Activation

Hello, I got my hands in a galactic edition of spore yesterday, but when I tried to log in in the game it said that my cdkey was already used, I was frustrated and tried to call costumer support(Portugal) nobody answered for 10 minutes and I ended the call, still I sent an E-mail and I'm waiting for a reply on the issue, the game was bought new and sealed at game.co.uk.

Today morning I tried to log in again, and the spore server allowed me to enter(lucky?), I've tried to log out and log in again and it seems to be working, but when I try to activate it trough ea download manager, the manager says that the cd key is linked to another account, how is that possible?

I really need to activate the game on ea DM because one of my computers doesn't have a DVD drive, and I already installed the sims 3 on that system using EA DM, so activation spore for me is an important matter.

If you installed the game with the CD key with no problems, then something's gone wrong when you go online. I'm afraid you might have to try EA Support again, but have a look through their website first to see if there's anything relevent.

I already installed the game on 2 different systems(my laptop and my bothers laptop), the game installed fine and currently logs in fine, even at spore.com my login is successful. When I insert the cdkey on eaDM it says that the cdkey is already used and yes I use the same e-mail to login in spore and in eaDM.


Portugal EA costumer support isn't very good, and I am very displeased with it, my e-mail hasn't got a response yet and phone calls only work between 5 PM and 9 PM, and yesterday I was made to listen for 10 minutes of music and computer voices saying that my call would be answered shortly...

Thanks for the help, there was some useful information but nothing related to my problem unfortunately.

I will try to get in contact with customer support by 5 pm again today.
