freezing when i click on things

well, basically i've got a toshiba satellite p200-143 with an nvidia Gforce go 7600 and i have already sorted out the problem where it freezes and u can do the ctrl-alt-del thing to get it going again, i updated the driver for that and now it runs smoothly, until i either go into the sporepedia, click on one of my creations (or any other ones) to bring up to the full screen thing, and it tries to load the creature but then freezes, or if i try to load a game that isn't in the cell or space stage, it freezes on the loading screen. i have no idea about how to fix it, i thought i had done enough to update my driver.
