Can't register through spore? Avoid it....

I don't know if anyone has stated this but:

I had the "cannot connected to spore servers" when i tried to register through them game. So i could not go online. I was looking through these forums for a solution with out actually making an account...
To anyone else out there who's annoyed with the same problem you can kinda get around it.

(For people who are just viewing the forum) : Register an account with EA ( you can do it through this site: https://profile.ea.com/login.do )

Then open up spore and either the register window will open on start up or click on "register" and quickly press login before it says "cannot connect to spore servers".

You should be able to log in fine and connect to the server. Most things should be working like sharing creatures and downloading the patches.
The things not working on my game are installing the patches and it's a bit iffy on downloading other creatures.

Well i'm not sure if this has helped but please let me know

Also let me know if there's any solutions to why i can't install the patches or download creatures.

How's urs working? Can you install the patches etc?
