Creepy and cute cant detect spore window xp bug

if u cannot install creepy and cute with cant detect spore error maybe u can try this cause i installed creepy and cute after trying

first uninstall ur spore then install creature creator,creepy and cute should detect creature creator then it will update next it will install creepy and cute.

then uninstall creature creator then uninstall creepy and cute next reinstall spore then creepy and cute should detect spore now, then let automatic patch to 2 then u should can install creepy and cute

I already had the Spore on my PC (but I reinstalled the windows xp).

And I having some problems to update to Creepy and Cute (actually, the problem is the patch to version 3); don't detect the Spore instalation... I already tried to restore the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\SPORE values, but fail.

Any help?

i think spore creepy and cute onli detect spore patch 2 maybe u let it update patch 2 frst den try install next just update to patch 3

I tried that (spore_dd_patch_all_v2.exe), fail at the same point =(

Fixed: I reinstalled the Spore and now is working (:

As it'll say in my 'C&C Broke Spore!' thread, first 2 times I've installed C&C was a sucess (meaning it detected Spore) bulalala time after reinstalling Spore it wont detect it, and I don't have Creature Creator, so does this mean I'll have to reinstall it AGAIN? or is there any other way? Thanks for the help

I just noticed, Creepy&Cute and Creature Creator are both "CC".... wow I'm stupid.

i have creature creotor as bonus game in my spore creepy and cute dvd game,maybe u try reinstall spore cause it maybe could detect spore if u try reinstalling,i think my self reinstall spore 2 time.

actually creepy and cute can call C&C i think

Well I don't want to have to keep on reinstalling it as it may come to some limit i keep hearing about.

i have a problem running the creepy and cute parts pack. everytime i click on the spore game (after i have installed the creepy and cute parts pack) , it would tell me " runtime error, this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". can someone plz help me out???

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Does it mention Miscrosoft Visual C++ in the error message? I've had a quick look on the internet and that seems to be popping up a lot.

There's a list of solutions on here:

Spore problem; apparently caused by latest patch (Windows Vista)

But I cannot be certain how successful and safe these are.
