I have recently sold on my copy of Spore, and my buyer can not run the game due to it being registered in my email. How would I stop this? Will this tool fix the problem?

Im not sure but you should indeed use it to remove the activation you have on your pc. So that he can get it. Although im not sure if it will let him play...

No.

You registered the game to your EA Account, you used your key up. 1 key = 1 account. You are going to have to argue it out with EA Support.

Oh that's just ridiculous! It never used to work like that, bloody EA...

Basically what we're saying then, is that I'm stuck with my copy of Spore for the rest of my life now? If that's the case it's an ingenious way for EA to ensure that you keep updating, and buying the expansions for, all their products; because you might as well if you're stuck with them.

Pretty much.

You can try and get them to revoke it but their official stance is 1 key = 1 account.

Its under the games explorer on the start menu, its icon is is a blue-ish trophy.

If you use the big start menu with the search bar at the bottom you could type games into it and it should show up. Alternatively right click a blank space on the side of it and select customise then customise again, you should be able to add it to the start menu there as a button which opens it up.

Hi, does anyone know if this will fix my game? When I try to log in I get a message saying 'The code for this installation is invalid and can not be used to link this product to your account.' If it doesn't help can anyone give me an idea of how to fix it? Thanks

My sad story: I have waited for what seems to be forever to get this game. It is finally Xmas, I install the game on the computer, brother by my side waiting eagerly to see if it will work. It all seems to work fine... until I try to log in I get a message saying that I can't go online, I scream up into the heavens WWWWHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY!

Default the de-authorization tool doesn't work

Ok so I tried installing Spore on another computer, and it said I had used too many licences. So I used the tool and it said it doesn't find the registration on computers where the programme for sure is still! and on one computer it wouldn't even run. Any ideas?

Hi there. Can someone please tell me how I am supposed to reacquire my activations when I've no longer got the installation I activated with? Y'know, because, say, people rebuild their hard drives and upgrade from time to time. As far as I was aware there was no deactivate tool last time I had a Spore installation (yeah a 6 month hiatus is about how much this game's shoddy publisher lalalalaed me off).

And in any case, I refuse to believe EA can't take my account name, password and serial key and be able to just reset all my activations from that information. Does this tool allow such? If there is no way of resetting activations without the prior installations (I can't imagine even EA are that stupid), I regret to say I will be playing the game through other, less reputable means.

I'm surprised EA are supporting this - not that I mind. Just doesn't make much sense to implement a feature into your game, then support a tool that removes it.

I think you'd have to ring EA tech. God bless you.

Default Spore to new computer

Hi there.
My computer (where original Spore was installed) crashed and I had to replace it completely. So Spore left on old HD and how I have new PC.
How can I transfer license to my new PC?

Thanks

Here's a good one for you to laugh at. Spore worked perfectly for me, Windows died & had to be reinstalled, 5 times, I've now used up all my installs & cannot unauthorise any of them because they're gone. I now have a game I can't use, will a phone call to EA fix this?
