Default Audio lag and invisibilty issues

We have something that may help those having issues with audio lag and invisible creatures.

Create a shortcut on your desktop to Spore, right click it and choose properties. In the shortcut tab add -jobPrority:0 like so:

Have you tried turning your graphics settings to low?

you see thats the problem we know we cn set it to low but then our gameplay experience is reduced. When is EA planning on launching another patch or at least fixing the one at hand

Any news on this subjet would be good seeing as i have not been able to play the game now since the patch came out, and i am finding it hard to take that i had a perfect running game before the patch and a messed up one after.

You missed an 'i' . :3

edit: F i n a l l y, I can play the game again! I was soo tired of the extreme audiolag and that I had to wait forever to be able to select my planet.
Creatures are still 'invisible' though, but that's probably because of my computer, it's not the fastest. :3

The way I solve that is to bring up the sporepedia/badges/artifacts and browse for a few secs.

Thank you!

This is working for me, at least as far as creature stage. Gonna hold my thumbs... Had some of the problems mentioned with the patch, particulary texture and creature action lag.

I'd just like to say that adding -jobPriority:0 has worked for me, I can now use patch 1.1 without having severe audio lag and slow creature loading. I still get a few of the 1.1 bugs however, most noticeably the galactic view jittering (flying through space isn't nearly as smooth as in version 1.0) but it's a fair tradeoff for the new features of the patch in my opinion.

Patch 1.2 would be appreciated however!

It worked for me too, so credit where it is due!

(But I am still unhappy about the way this was handled; a simple 'O dear!; we may have messed up here" would have made it clear that you knew what was going on.) Meanwhile, I stopped playing and do not know whether or not I will resume doing so.

Alright, you fixed other peoples invisible creatures. How about my invisible starting planets? Will it work for this too?

I think they probably were.

And writing huge letters, dancing bananas and an obscene amount of exclamation marks probably makes them less likely to help you.

Default Invisibility Fail

Hi, I've had Spore 1 day and as I expected it fails. Just when I was getting to like it, I exited my most recent evolution to discover my whole species is invisible. I've tried the 'Priority' thing in the properties window as demonstrated but the problem remains. If there are admins on this thread, please help...SAVE SPORE!

P.S. My PC is not struggling on graphics, this game is well within my spec requirements.
