Error 1012 with the most new drivers (177.92)

Note: I'm argentinian, so sorry for my english .

When I execute CreatureCreator, it show me the 1012 error. I have updated with the 177.92 beta drivers for my Nvidia geforce 6200, but the problem does not dissapear. When I execute Spore, does appears a black screen and return to the desktop.
I have windows vista and xp, but in both the problem appears. Just in case I clean the cache files and modified the ConfigManager.txt... but the problem appears again.

I need help please, the drivers are updated but the problem continues!! Thank you.

I dont know how to disable SLI, in the nvidia panel does not exist this option.

Go to advanced ,mode

3D settings.
Set SLI Configeration.


select : Do not use sli technology

Apply.

But the geforce 6200 does not have sli option, it is not in nv control panel

Okay you have a single video card yes? A Geforce 6200 correct? The replies that say disable SLI doesn't apply to you. That is for multiple gpu's on one card or having multiple cards in your machine.

You have an old driver installed on your machine according to that report...it says your driver is "Your driver version number is: 6.14.11.7519"

That is not the 177.92 beta driver..
Nvidia _175.19_2kxp = 6.14.11.7519

Try running a driver cleaner (sweeper) in safe mode then installing the 177.92 beta driver.

1# Goto the download section on guru3d.com and look for driver sweeper, download it but do not run it.

2# Goto add and remove programs and select nvidia then graphics drivers and uninstall them. Reboot.

3# When restarting press F8 before the windows logo with loading bar and select boot in safe mode

4# Run driver sweeper with nvidia selected, let it finish then reboot to windows as normally.

5# Install which ever drivers you feel like and reboot as normal.

Try that, it does a clean install of your drivers. Have you also tried installing the patch?

I have a. ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2, i am unsure how to check if i have the most up to date driver, but i know it is a dual GPU single card but i do not know how to disable it. I get the 1012 error too. Any ideas?
