I have a problem, basically i cant even make it to the main menu before spore stops responding.
It freezes every time leaving me sitting like an idiot for 2 minutes praying it will load. I have found that by Alt - Tabbing out and back into the program it miraculously gets further in the loading stage. I have tried the EA compatability checker and it says my laptop should be able to handle it. (I am aware not all laptop GPU's work but it has never been an issue with other EA titles i own. any ideas? Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.071023-1545) System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. System Model: G1 BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU -T7200 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM Page File: 978MB used, 3328MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 10 Card name: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7700 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce Go 7700 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Display Memory: 776 MB Dedicated Memory: 504 MB Shared Memory: 271 MB Have reinstalled twice no joy, bought this crock of s*** out of Game so no hope of a refund. Was debating whether to get Spore or Stalker clear sky today. Stalker has its problems but im sure i could have at least played it. Thanks EA for letting me be a Beta tester for a brand new retail game. ![]() |
