Solution to "Spore Claims I'm offline"

Hi All, I've finaly found a solution to the problem that keeps coming up that spore clames that I'm offline even when i'm online. It turns out that netsh was attempting to connect through a proxy.. not sure why...

What you have to do is open an administrator level command prompt, if you are not sure how to do this look at
How to Open Elevated Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges in Windows Vista » My Digital Life

Once you have and admistrator level command window open, you have to type "netsh", this will open netsh. you will see that the prompt is now "netsh>"

With netsh open type winhttp. The prompt should change to "netsh winhttp>". Now type "reset proxy" and press return. It should ont say that you connecting with direct access...

Hope this helps someone else.. I've been going crazy trying to get this working for the past couple of days. Good luck and i'm off to create a new species... finaly...
