Cannot Verify ownership no internet connection?

Hi All,


Purchased the game this morning, when starting game i'm getting a dialog box stating need internet connection to verify ownership, now i am connected to the internet and i have disabled windows firewall to try that, still no joy,

Im running vista 32 bit version.


Anyone got a solution or a fix ?

I've got the same problem but with a different game

not shure if this will help or not but check your firewalls. and settings to your router update the firmware if you need to etc,

let me know if this helps or if you aleady sorted the problem

Same here, except mine was working at first, then one day I launched the game and it told me that I had to be connected to the internet, even though I am. Not a firewall issue or anything because I never changed any of my settings for any programs I have running between the times I could use spore online and the time I couldn't.

I sent a query and have still to resolve it, but if I do find a solution I'll post here.
