Can't find the install files I download from EA?

Hi,

When I downloaded Spore from EA Games I opted not to pay for the extended download period thinking that I could just burn my files to a disk and put them on my shelf so I could reinstall at a later date if my computer messed up.

I can't find any of the files! The EADM says that they have been downloaded into a cache folder in the program directory but I can't see this in Vista even wit hidden folders showing.

Have I made the wrong choice not buying a copy on a DVD or am I missing something. At the moment I feel I have just paid for a six month rental of the game.

I'm sure this feeling must be incorrect?

Anyone have any pointers?

i'm sure you have solved your problem by now but just in case you have not all the file you are after are in.....

c:/user/programdata/electronicsarts/eadm/cache folder there are however two folders in there spore_dd and spore_scc.

scc = spore creature creator

dd = digital download (i assume)

people are saying on here to burn all contents of that folder onto a dvd.
