Havent had too many problems, i can understand why ive seen some people screaming beta though lol. had it crash twice, once when i was in space as i zoomed into a star system (about an hour after id saved it

)
then almost immediatley after i reloaded the game and began playing catchup. I noticed some heavy slowdown about 5-10 minutes before it crashed too. I have noticed the lod problems, where ships/planes/buildings dont pop in too smoothly, ie my blue metal battleship flicks to a bright purple!? blob when im further than 100m away from it, but that doesnt bother me as much as having to look at lod imposters for ALL my buildings/planes/spacecraft etc, no matter how close i am. have started a thread about that issue if anyone wants to add anything ;p (Textures and model details once ive left the editor lower??? please help :p)
So overall not too let down, another good idea, overhyped, rushed by EA and sold for £35. the usual

oh and before i forget, anyone tried adding 3 of those star destroyer engines to the stardestroyer hull part? Cant do it, no damn rotate tool, come on EA

The game crashes when I exit my homeworld after an attack/some cases not even after attacks.
This is really really annoying.

PC specs:
Intel Q6600 Quadcore
ATi X800GTO
2 gigs of RAM

I have to run my game in Windows XP compatibility and Administrator mode in order to get the game to work OCCASIONALLY. Most of the time when I try to launch the game I get a black screen which crashes in a few seconds with the message "Spore has stopped working' with that DLL file reported in the error log that everyone is going on about.

The funny thing is, 1 times out of about 20, the game manages to load up and plays just fine. What is the explanation for that?!

I have a Intel Pentium 3.2ghz machine with 4Gb ram and Radeon X1950 gfx card, the game has gone onto a black screen a few times, but, that is the only problem I have, which leads me to my only request in the new patch, PLEASE CAN WE HAVE AN AUTOSAVE........*sigh* shouldn't be too hard to add to the game.

I have installed the game fine but when I try to run it, I get a full black screen then a half black screen followed by the message
'spore has encountered a problem and needs to close'.
I have no idea what the problem is. I have tried updateing my drivers and closeing background applications as suggested in the FAQ but hat hasn't helped. A lot of people who bought this game are not very technicaly minded when it comes to computers (myself included) and should not have to sort through the list of background applications to close just to get the damn thing to run. Still haven't been able to get through to ea techinical support either. Not very impressive.

installed yesterday (twice), just about worked second time (but frequent screen freezes that went away if i tabbed out of the game to my desktop then back again). got to creature stage and saved...on reload i get an animation about not straying too far from the shore, then total crash. not worked since.
