With regards to my previous posts, could a member of the EA team please tell me how I can contact EA with a letter/email of complaint. Further to this please could you provide me with contact details of the industry regulator/ombudsman. Thank you |

Im getting no where with support at all! all they say is "It is not possible to link more than one account" etc, which is clearly not true as others have had this feature enabled.
It would be nice to get a clear definitive answer from EA on this one - Why are some users able to log in on several accounts? why is their money any better than mine or yours? regards |

I've sat here and read all seven pages of this today and it's completely unacceptable. They should have double checked the manual before everything went on sale!
If they've given "special treatment" to some as an apology, they should make it available to EVERYBODY! We shouldn't have to complain to get it. I will be double checking my manual, and box when I get home this evening - if this is the case, I know my partner will want his own log on, too. Last edited by Alys1um; 17-09-2008 at 02:58 PM.. |

Just mailed EA...
"Good afternoon, I was hoping someone might be able to assist me in an issue I've found. On page 62 of you manual it states that multiple accounts can be used per installation. Now, my partner and I, seperately, have been looking forward to this game for a long time and when he bought it for me this weekend we got it back to his and installed it on his macbook. not an issue so far as I installed and registered as myself. I took the game home on sunday to install on my pc, and again logged in as myself and everything was fine until I had a phonecall from him saying he can't register as himself. Why is this when the manual clearly states that it IS possible? Can you help, please? Thanks." Fingers crossed? |

Yep, i even got the spore dev team (manager and directors) email addy from the ea contacts page and mailed them to let them know.
The first mail i got a reply to (" i have passed this on to customer service") and im still waiting for a reply to the second. Cases logged on the web close automatically after 7 days, so keep them open by posting on them if you can. regards |

People should still fill tickets about this, there is like 4 pieces of evidence which goes against what EA is saying (manual/various ingame bits).

Answering your feedback about Spore Online Accounts
Check that out. Looks like they have caved - well Maxis are implementing a botch to allow this to happen, until it can be addressed with an update. regards |

you gotta watch for the achievements tho, cos the person who is logged in will get it.
say you play 99 hours straight then fall asleep on the computer chair. your wife then logs in and play for 1 hour, she will get the 100 hour badge, not you!! not ideal, but they have acknowledged that and are looking to fix it with an update. My sons are the same, they want the online content and to share their creations. |
