This game is an absolute joke I am trying to re activate the game and got stuck with the invalid key error. I see all these post here and not one solution so the Spore team can just go and [removed] themselves.

I understand you're frustrated and new here but evading the swear filter is not allowed. Have you tried the EA support site or giving them a ring?

Same issue here ... Since this has been going on forever , i can only conclude that EA & Co are thieves ...

Wish i had money, so i could sue EA . But alas , i am poor.

Yes, EA are thieves. I had this exactly problem, and the phone they provided never works, we are trafered endlessly, and, when it finally seems we've reached our destination (someone who we can talk to), the call is simply returned to point zero!! Yes, we need to go through all those "press zero to lalalala yourself, press two to declare you are an idiot..." thing!!!

Is this how you fight piracy EA??? Harming costumers??? Scamming others???

So I have the same problem I contacted EA and they told me to return to where I bought the game and tell them about it but they have a wonderful policy.

You have already opened the game therefore you cannot return it, they said im trying to return the game because I have already copied it and they arent there to hand out registration codes so that I can sell them to my friends. Apparently theyve delt with people who continualy return the game claiming the registration code is already in use, who then go online to sell the codes, not to mention people who sell their used and or new games on ebay with registeration codes.

They told me to contact EA and have them send me another registration code but EA wont send me a new one however they are willing to ship me an new disc and code if im willing to pay for the shipping and other fees. I just have to Mail them my box with the cd and manual and the receipt in the box.

So because sombody used a keygen I have to shell out more money just to play this game?? [Removed]

As the discussion of piracy is not allowed on the forums I will remove the content of your posts but if the retailer won't exchange your disk then I would contact EA Support again, explaining what you have tried and see if they can assist you further.
