Ok, my GE code will not let me link to my spore.com account. it said its invalid.
I checked in the registry and i did enter the code correctly. This is unnaceptable. Fix it EA.

Me too, glad I'm not the only one, I've almost played through spore, just to the space stage, but with the stock creatures I see same thing allot....

I'm having the same issue, GE edition...
First I couldn't even start the game, then I couldn't connect and now I can't activate it. Nice start! What happens if I play in offline mode first and have it activated later? Will I have to start over in order to get the user-made content or... ? |

I believe I'm having the same problem, I can bootup the game, and it works, but I can't login, when I login, goes through the motions warns me that It will link the game to my account, but then it says that the "Installation Code is Invalid".
This is with the GE, BTW, not that, that probably matters anyway, as it's probably the exact same game disc. |

I get the same problem when I try to create a new account, because I can't use the one I created when I registered the creature creator! (GE edition here, although I don't think that matters).
This sort of ineptitude and unprofessionalism is unforgiveable. Tony. |

Well this sucks...but at least we are not alone...most people seem to be having the problem. A time frame or more information would be great though. Because currently we have no idea about anything...

Same problem here (GE user).
Installation went as expected, even got the game before the official release (Seplalala, Germany). EADM logs me in as usual, my account works as expected, but when it tries to link the Spore installation when trying to log in via Spore, it tells me my code is invalid -- which is nonsense. Yes, I have double- and triple-checked my license key upon installation. Yes, I already have an EA account (from Spore Creature Creator, FULL version btw). Yes, I know *** I'm doing. Yes, I'm connected to the internet. Yes, it really is a problem with SPORE. This is highly unprofessional. Especially considering that EA is not just an indie dev house, but maybe THE largest game publisher out there. Tech staff, take notice. |
