Hi, I'm New!

I have after 3 hours of reading blogs, finally realised that my login works for this site but not for the game.
I have spent £40 for something that doesn't work, even if I run it as an administrator, try to delete files that dont exist on my PC, or any other option that exists on this blog. I'll do what I usually do: My Pc: Dell Pro Workstation 850c Intel Core Dou 3.0g Ghz 2Gb Ram 250Gb Hdd SCSI 1500rpm ATI Radeon Sapphire 512Mb Graphics running two 18 Dell HD2130 monitors Sorry bored now, spent £40 and the game doesn't work. Why ????? |

I'm unable to log in when in the game as well. No idea why that is, the site works fine and this is a problem that I have never had before, been playing the game since launch.
Oddly enough it connects just fine if I enter the wrong password, when I enter the correct one it tells me I'm offline. :P Deleting files does nothing, disabling the firewall does absolutely jack etc. |

thats right spore. i dont know if you under stood the title, but the fact is, i bought spore, made an acount a bit later, but in the form, i mistook screen name for reapeat password, and i got the screenname as my pass word. then i did something really stupid. i went back and deleted the acount on the conformation e-mail link! and now spore wont let me log in, because it says have invalid product key! spore, can you pleasehelp me!

Arre you sure you haven't got any security/safety programs blocking your spore game?
These can be: Windows Liveonecare Family safety Norton 360 MetaCafe Other security programs If you use Norton, please unblock spore by clicking on the main program for norton. Good luck trying to login |

I couldn't be more upset with EA or Spore technical support. I cannot get online with Spore. I bought the game as a digital download form Direct2Drive.com for 40 bucks. Everytime I try to play, it tells me the key is invalid and that it cannot be attached to my account, and that login failed.
I have spoken to no less than three live chat support people (transcripts below), and have sent 4 support emails in 2 days. I have been jerked around, with no solution. Sadly, it seems this forum post is my last option for support. If I do not get this fixed, count me as one of the people who will never purchase form EA again. What is going on here???? Why can't they just make it freaking work!!!!???? Support logs (game key edited out): Hi, my name is Nathan. How may I help you? [09:13:09 AM] Nathan: This is Nathan from EA Customer Support.
