Cannot Login / Login errors / Server problems - Page 61

I havn't got a persona, but my main account isn't logging in

I spent an hour fiddling with settings/EADM assuming it was a problem on my end.
Can we atleast have an estimate on how long this will take to fix?

I'm having the same login problems as everyone else here it seems. Ever since I bought Galactic Adventures last friday, I'm unable to login when I start up the game. First it just said "updating content" or something like that, then it tries to login, and then it says "Login Failed". are the Spore servers down or something? When can we expect this to be fixed? Why is this always happening when a new EA game with online functions comes out? (when SPORE itself came out I remember it being impossible to log in from the game for days, because the servers were not ready or something)

Torian, I don't think it is caused by GA. I played fine for a couple days, but when I got home early Saturday morning it wouldn't let me login. Maybe something happened that evening, due to too many GA creations maybe? It could be an expansion of server space.

Okay, they've confirmed it's down for 'emergency maintenance'.

EXACT same here. Everything was fine from Tuesday to Friday (time I've had GA), Saturday everything went wrong.

Thank God, I hope it all gets fixed!

Yea, they announced it on their facebook group, so hopefully that's a reliable source.

i'm still having problems, with GA, it will say 'network play disabled'.
when i try to login, it will say the thing it did when i only had spore.

I have never had to endure such crappy service. EA lost my business and I will pass the word around. Take a look at Blizzard or Egosoft for pointers on how to make a workable on-line support site and how to treat your customers!

What does "Could not write license data!" mean? I've tried to contact customer service as was instructed by the error but it was impossible to submit anything to them.

I can't log in either.

It recognises that I have a Spore account (which I can't access on the Spore site, despite receiving a welcome e-mail) because when I try to create one it tells me I'm already registered... When I attempt to log in, I just get "Login Failed - Invalid Login" even though everything is correct. I've had countless password changes but it still keeps telling me it's wrong. I only installed the game yesterday and I'm pretty bored of not being able to do the online stuff!

Oh, I have tried deleting the login.prop file and that did nothing. It clearly is connecting to the server to tell me that it's an invalid login. Pah!

For issues with linking your account, you usually have to ring EA Tech Support and get a new serial. Which takes like 16 minutes. It did for me.

Also, unrelated note, is anyone else constantly getting messages about not being able to connect to the SPORE server when you do 'Search Online' and the website account options and 'pedia just being a total mess?

I got Spore on christmas. Afet a few days it wouldnt go online. This is the same for Galactic Adevntures. This sucks.

My GA just stopped logging in. it was working perfectly well untill today. Is there a server fault today or have I got a glitch? This is really annoying timing as I just finished making a really complicated adventure I've been working on for 5 days now. And now I can't share it!

I can log into my EA account easilty but everytime I try to log into spore it just comes up log in failed :S. My e-mail address is correct and so is my password what's wrong ?!!!

Its this mess with only being able to have a single email login account and then having to setup Personas through the EA website, then for child accounts to login as mainaccount@whatevermail.com:childaccount-user name

Still have to work out how to link into EA Downloader, but its patched now and all I have to still solve is the crackling Audio.

I used to have the same problem: "an unknwn error occured during installation" -or something like that (my spore is not English but Hungarian, so i cant translate is totally). But all went right when i gave a password which didn't contained any spcial charachters, like: ŐÉÁŰÚÓÜÖ. So this way i could finally do the reistration. I hope it will help to you too!.
