I don't even have a C:\Documents and Settings... filepath existing. And I've ran the search tool and I can't find the login.prop file. Still, I can't log in during the game. Also, logging into spore.com is impossible since it won't accept my password. And I just changed it!

Every single time i try and login with my account on spore it says INVALID LOGIN. Like lalala????!!!!!! i made an account and i would like to use it.

it's damn annoyin. its makes me sad

Maybe... Somebody bought the game before you guys and used the registration code for their account and as you CANNOT have more than 1 account registered to spore, so you might have to re buy the game from where you got it from?

I bought my copy of spore on the day it came out so its definately 'new'. only had this problem since i put it on my laptop. should I uninstall it on my desktop? If so, is their any way that I can get my saves across? I don't want too lose that data and also, one or two playthroughs are friends so I dont want to let them down! I hope you can see the sticky situation I am in here!

HELP!!!!

Link didn't help, cannot find login.prop either.
Fail, I cannot log in at all, and my internet settings have not changed since I last logged in.
My game has been running fine up until now.

Apparently the Sporepedia is also down. Are the two linked?

You have not linked your Xbox Gamertag or PSN Name to your EA Account. Please Click this link and complete the account linking process.
You have a linked account but have not yet participated in an online Ranked Multiplayer match for Battlefield: Bad Company. Online Ranked Multiplayer Game time is required to access your personal profile page.

I LOG GREAT IN EA BUT NOT IN BAD COMPANY PROFILE. : (

anyway do you think updating game to 1.2 will help ? i can't seem to patch mine so i can't use creapy and cute...

My dad got spore a few weeks after release after me talking about how great it was for God knows! I followed it through being created for a good month or two, played the creature creator like it was my job. Sadly, my dad isn't here anymore. I stopped playing the day he went.

Today, I thought I'd brave it. I signed in on the game, worked fine, signed out and then logged in on the site to change the persona. Works fine again, though my persona cahnged from my first one (which I would like renamed, not sure how it became first and default) and my last one (the one that was my first one before the personas were introduced) were BOTH as default... and the site still read me as the first persona. Strange.

Now, I try to log into the game: 'Invalid login'. HUH? And, I didn't have to type my password, it was auto-logging in (not strange, just saying I can't have gotten it typed wrong). Just upsetting I can't play SPORE, I've always loved it.

I know this isn't really the place to say this, but I got the Sims 3 yesterday before all this happened... awesome game, good job guys!

But for God's sake, please work on fixing this. It seems to have been running into late last year and still no fix... please, this is seriously wrong.

I'd try EA support, they may be able to help. They have a website (very top of this page) which may have some advice. And yes, Sims 3 is brilliant, I've been playing it every free moment I have!

Yo, Ea OK i have a correct log in and everything but when i try to go online it says i dont have the correct spore.com privallages and im like "??" when i bought the game and i read the manual 3 times and i tried and tried again bt still nothing happend!!!!! so what the heck is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for those still having login issues i would advise trying the following:

Delete this file: C:\documents and settings\{username}\application data\spore\preferences\login.prop

you can then re-load spore, enter your email address, password and then a persona.

Hey Maxis/EA, does any of you know what is going on with the servers? Me and several friends can't log into our main, default accounts, but our personas work perfectly fine. I'm pretty sure this is happening to many people, and having a fix soon would be very helpful
