Cannot Login / Login errors / Server problems - Page 59

I don't really like downloading patches from the internet, but what i really would like is for EA to help people like us get the login error solved

two weeks... and still no login... I've tried everything! I have Vista professional, okay? I don't need some badly written excuse for a solution explaining to me that "It's all being taken care of" or "It'll be all right if you check the following webpage!" But that dosen't work... So I explained this... they told me the delete files thing... I asked where this file is located:
Well, you go to 'My computer' then acess the C: drive, go to system preferences-
Uhhh... correction... this is Vista Professional... Like most vista models, it has no 'My Computer' or System preferences in the C: Drive... Otherwise I would have sorted the problem three weeks ago...

I need help! i have solved the problem with login, but now it says i don't have an installation code, then something about spore.com privileges! what do i need to do with my windows firewall settings??

I have pretty much the same problem, but...

I activated Spore under a different EA account to the one I'm trying to use now. The old one works, but I'm trying to change to the "new" one (created from the EA site, not through Spore; which simply comes up with various errors, depending on where I try to log in)

Support = VERY POOR. http://support.electronicarts.co.uk doesn't exist!

so has this problem been solved? I got spore just today and am having the same difficulty's.
This isnt what I expected or wanted, and as for buying a game I thought I could kick back with and relax a bit its just irritated annoyed and literly violated my poop shoot...
I assume EA have done little to combat this issue. I can't log into sopre.com i cant log into my spore game to gain access to the content there.
And yes of course it is still playable off line, but I payed for all the fetures, mainly the on-line feature.
Is there a solution? I'm not willing to troll through 59 pages of moning and complaints to hopefully dig out a solution that does not appear to be there.

Thats whats happening to me too.

Can access the ea site, pogo site, download manager etc but won't let me play spore online. grr dangit. Bear in mind its been several months since I played it so perhaps theres been a change to the logging in process since then ? But my fiance played no problems but then I don't think his was a fresh install recently but about a year ago.

Okay, so the server thing has gone but now when the browser tries to sign me in, what happens is that it says one message saying 'you will be connected to the spore.com website.' then i click 'ok' and it says that it can't connect me, i try again and it says 'you do not have the proper online spore.com priveliges, can someone help me with this problem?

Not really banned, i've just never been connected to the spore server and be able to use it at all, never used the online stuff.

Update!

For those still having login issues I would advise trying the following:

hi every 1 when spore opens it asks to log in so i do i put e-mail and password i have changed these and tryed and tryed again but it wont let me log in so we made an acount for my mum and she cant sign in either dose any 1 what is going wrong ?

After searching through the pages I finally found what appeared to be a solution. Adding :Persona Name after your email adress.
At first it wouldn't register my persona when I tried that, so I attempted to make a new persona in firefox. It refused to work, even after several attempts. I then used Internet Explorer and tried again, this time with results. I created a new Persona, and applied as default. I then tried to delete the old one, which then became a 2nd default. So I was left with 2 Personas. I've tried deleting it again after a day,but it says:Sorry, an error occurred. Details were not updated.
So I try logging in with my persona ingame, and it works. I then come up with the old "We will link this instilation of Spore to your Spore.com account." I click OK and it says Login Failed : There was an internal application error. Please try again.

No matter how many times I try, it always says that.
I am running it on windows vista, in the UK. I have bought it second hand, so I am wondering if that has something to do with it? My friend has it online, and I really want to be able to show off my creatures to my friends and the world.

If anyone could help I would be greatful, thanks.

i got the game about 1 week ago and it was working fine but now i want it on my new computer and when i put in the Registration Code it was basicly telling me that its already been used soo how can i get another one??? i dont wont to pay again

is it posible you guys can send me one to my email??

ok i have installed spore correctly i used my m8s cd and when i get past the cell stage the game crashes do i need the cd in ? (sorry if i sound dumb:L)
