Dan78, I can tell you where to get them: When you log on, your game automatically starts downloading them from a Sporecast called "The Robot Chicken Adventures" (or similar).
If it doesn't, there might be something wrong with your game/user/something. I don't know what, you should ask in the technical support, but as far as I know EA, at least this time, did what they said. They brought some... Allow me to say awesome, adventures when GA came out.

Wait, Dan78, on another thread on the forum I just found this link where you can subscribe to them so they will download as the Sporecasts next time you log on Spore GA:
Link
I don't know if it will work, but I guess it will.

This might seem a dumb question but how many missions are there meant to be? I have 19 Maxis adventures and 6 Robot Chicken. Seems a pathetic amount for an expansion pack. Am I missing something?

I get the user created adventures no problem. I can't say I enjoy playing them in the space game. Too many of them are rotten and not worth th effort.

the robot chicken adventures are in the 'robot chicken adventures' sporecast, idiot! So don't call us a "naive believe-anything-and-get-hyped community!" For god's sake, just because there's something wrong with your computer/account/mentality, it doesn't mean you have to fly into a rage and insult us because we are optomists and enjoy playing a fun game, regardless of whether it's everything it said it was!

The original was cool, yes i could make something pretty and funny but all it's grand claims of "evolving" your species well null, all you did was whack extra bits on it that made it look cooler. The only stage where your choice of parts really had an effect was the cell stage (the best bit in the game).
And now they offer this? This tacky half arsed attempt to revitalise the game? No thanks it wouldn't even work as a stand alone game, the only reason it will sell copies is because it's got the spore artwork bolted in to it. This in no way improves the game at all, a game which had a lot of potential but really failed in all it promised.
1. it doesn't need to be solely about evolution, for instance we evolved from amoebas, and now we go on 'missions' or 'quests'

2. there is a parts pack called 'creepy and cute'. get it if you prefer parts to 1st person futuristic games.

3. It does work as a stand alone, though maybe not in the conventional way: you have to install spore, but you don't have to play a second of spore to do galactic adventures.

4. incase you didn't notice, spore has not failed at all. there are over 100,000,000 creations in the sporepedia and millions of people enjoy playing it, and of course this improves it! IT LETS YOU MAKE YOUR OWN WORLDS!

TheBlaDK, I do like some things about SPORE. I just don't like how Spore developers and marketing team approach their customers. First they advertise and make promises then deliver none or 0.005% of them. That's not how good businesses approach customers. You either do what you say, or just stop saying junk and start working. If you promise things and don't deliver them - people will start to lose trust of you. There was good tale about boy who cried 'wolf!'. I wish EA management to google it and get some eternal wisdom. =)
I refer you back to my comment about your first post. And by the way, they said they would make a fun game in which you make creatures and evolve them as you play. It is fun (for most people), you do make creatures (or as close as you can get to that on a computer), and you do 'evolve' your creatures (in the loosest sense of the world, e.g. adapting to your environment to improve the survival of your species).

But nonethless, NO-ONE can clearly tell where to get them or at leas how do they look like. Yes, you can create some mission and name it 'Robot Chicken' and probably get some popularity, but WHERE are original ones, I ask you? NOWHERE. And the news story tells us that they will come FOR GRANTED. And did I forget to mention endless pre-release videos, interviews and press-conferences, starting with the infamous 2005 video?
SOMEONE just did tell you where to find them, in the most obvious place possible, right in front of your nose! And that is SOMEWHERE, not "NOWHERE"!

Oh, and by the way, great job spore development team! galactic adventures is awesome, and the robot chicken adventures are fantastically fun and extremely funny xD

reading up, I'm inclined to agree IamSpore, but do try to keep your cool!

For future reference, Robot Chicken is a magazine, the adventures can be found from a link on the right on the Spore US website and various other official websites.

There is no way of getting these missions from European SPORE site (at least I am not aware of one). Yes, you can search Sporepedia, but...

1. You can't search sporecasts, only individual creatures, so you can't locate Robot Chicken sporecast via European site.
2. AFAIK, you can still search Sporecasts from the game directly (didn't try, but still...) BUT, question number 3 arises:
3. If I even find some way to search Sporecasts, how do I recognize genuine RC mssions that were meant to ship with Spore GA? I suppose there will be lots of 'clones' and variations, and some coincidental creations with same names...

Conclusion: Too many questions and headaches - just to get something that was claimed FOR GRANTED in that article. That's what I wanted to mention in my original post.

To put it even more simple... If you claim something to ship with your product FOR GRANTED - deliver it FOR GRANTED. Otherwise I will stop buying your products - FOR GRANTED.

There is absolutely nothing preventing you from typing "www.spore.com" in the address bar and then choosing the US site. From there you would have to be blind to miss the link to the sporecast.

you wont find it through searching as it's a special Maxis-made sporecast. Or perhaps you will, typing "maxis" under the "creator name" is likely to find you maxis-made sporecasts, and there wont be any replicas or fakes there.

It takes the tinniest minutiae of thought to look for it on the US site, if you couldn't manage that then I'm amazed you were able to even find GA instead of giving up when you find the original Spore still for sale!

They said there would be available for download, not pre-included but downloadable, and they are. EA lived up to its promise 100%, you're just too stubborn to actually believe that they could.

FYI: i first found them from the UK site, but the site was having difficulties and the subscribe function wasn't functioning, so i had to get them from the US site at that time. I believe the problem has been fixed through (or at least had been temporarily at some point) so they are there, you're just not looking.
