That's a US supplier. I would suspect that most people on here would like to be able to get the GE from somewhere in Europe, given that this is the EU forum

Hmmm... not so good. It's great that somewhere now has it listed, but very bad that it says "GAME exclusive" - that kinda implies that we are not going to be getting it anywhere else at the moment.

Obvioulsy, that is not a problem, if you were planning to pay full price for it anyway. But when Spore is available for pre-order at £26.99, delivered, as opposed to EA's price of £39.99, or GAME's price of £29.99 - having to pay full-whack for a game that we were assured was "just a few pounds more"... well, it just doesn't fill me with glee.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that we can get it at a more sensible price, but I think I might be leaning more towards the standards edition now. I hate all this 'exclusive rights' rubbish :/ </grump>

In my opinion GAME is always the most expensive place to buy games. I usually go shop somewhere else unless I can't get it anywhere else. I'm going to buy the regular game version anyway as I just want to play the game. I'm not all that bothered about the other stuff in this game version

Play.com is where I get most of my stuff, but at the moment GameStation has the cheapest price on Spore (that I could find):
SPORE :: PC :: Gamestation - £26.99 including delivery

No word yet on wether or not they will be getting the GE in tho'

Actually, just found it cheaper:

UK Online Video Games And Consoles Video Games + Free Delivery in Uk orders before 5.30pm dispatched same day - ShopTo.Net

Never used this company before though - has anyone else? Also, they (like everyone else) don't have the GE listed

Game UK seem to be claiming they will have a UK exclusive on the Galactic Edition. It will cost £44.99 and will be released on September 5th, the general UK release date for the game.

Spore Galactic Edition - GAME Exclusive! (PC Games) - free UK delivery at GAME.co.uk

I find it odd that it's not even in the EA UK store, yet.

Unfortunatly Game does seem to be the only place selling the GE, which is very annoying since the regular version is £25.99 from amazon.co.uk... So I'm spending an extra £20 for this? It hardly seems worth it...

Preordered GE From Game in store (I prefer to get things like this in store as if there are any issues I can sort them out quicker than dealing with tech support imo)
