lol ahhhh well i wonder if there gunna bring out a small demo of this maybe to go with the creator as good as it is i dont feel like its giving me much of a feel for the game

I would say depending on upload and time in someone elses game it CAN vairy

for example lets say I have a creature called Critter

I upload a single celled Critter1
I beat cellular stage and go to creature but you download critter1 and I am using Critter2 (Creature) you go on holliday leaving your world alone and I make Tribal you are now 2 stages behind me.

there is no connection as I see it between your game containing MY creature and MY game using them

also another one is if i colanise a planet on mine will my creatures on say another person game colanise the same planet or one like it ?????

So... I bought the Spore Creature Creator demo for $$$, €€€ or £££ cause EA will give me money back when i buy Spore on the online store (the downloadable version). Ok, this limited edition is on normal stores only then...

for UK supliers I use Game (Through my local store as I am english) game.co.uk and instore both know whats going on to a degree

They don't have the galactic edition listed on their site. No UK supplier has it listed on their sites as far as I know.

i cant order Spore GE, it wont alow me, sol i hope it comes to norway before the 4th of september, or i will buy it when it comes even if i have bokt the normal one

Gamestop is US only, they don't supply Uk games. As far as I know there isn't a single UK supplier currently offering the galactic edition.

indeed I find uk find out about things weeks before the release sometinmes well at least here we get 2 compos the us and others do not get

I've just had a look in the high street stores around my area, not one of them even knew about the galactic edition let alone whether they'll be stocking it!

I've spoken to a few of the online retailers, and none of them have heard of it.

Well, that is not strictly true - *all* of them that I spoke with have *heard* of it, due to the massive PR web that EA has, and the fact that their press release about it has made its way on to every vaguely game-related website in the known universe - but not one of them had any idea when, or even *if* they would be selling it.

One rather knowledgable chap (who informed me that he had a countdown on his PC desktop set for Spore's release) told me that he had been chasing EA about it but could not get even get a clear answer from them as to when (or if) it would be available through UK retailers. In fact, he told me that it had taken him sometime to even find someone at EA who knew there was a Galactic Edition!

Faced with this situation, and given the wonderful response rate from EA representatives on these forums, I think that we may have to assume that the Galactic Edition is a no-show, until we are told otherwise.

Word to the wise: if you were thinking of pre-ordering, but want to get GE, don't give up and order the standard edition - wait to see what happens with GE first, you still have time.

Also, don't just order from the EA store - it is a hell of a lot cheaper elsewhere (but I am sure that most of you know that already)

most importantly: If EA decides not to release the GE at the same time as the standard edition, please please please, for the love of all you believe in, just wait for the GE, or buy the standard edition - don't buy both for just yourself, as this will only encourage EA to pull this kind of lalalala more often, for more profit. I am sure we are all sick of companies doing this kind of stuff, and I am really hoping that EA doesn't try it, but I thought it was worth putting the thought out there for folks to mull over.

Well, after a long ramble (sorry, it's late), fingers crossed for an official response on UK/Europe retailers!
