Default Grox

On the space stage, have you ever found the home planet of the Grox, then destroyed it?

I have, once. But my computer caught a virus, then was resetted

Although, I encoutered the Grox in the creature stage. (At least I think they were the grox)

well, we know where the Grox homeworld is. I personally haven't destroyed it.

By encountered, do you mean a Grox ship flew overhead, or you met the actual creatures? the former is a random creature stage event and sometimes it's a Grox ship, other times it's one of your own or someone else's' creations.
If the latter, it's because many people have attempted to make replicas of the Grox for use in-game (so they can play as Grox, use them in adventures, whatever) and you came across one of those.

Well, just slow down. The Grox can become an unknown threat. Just you follow this; When the homeplanet tells you to seek for the Grox, wait until you have the big happy beamer, some energy reloads (beamer takes a lot), and an embassy. then contact the Grox without any allied hanging around ( let them go home), and with no weapons selected. Go down to their planet and use "happy beamer", until they are yellow, and decrlaires żou: No threat. Leave them and go home, and they will never bother you.

I discovered a black hole next to a cluster of my colonies, it led me next to the Grox homeworld (almost), THEN I DESTROYED MOST OF THEM WITH PURE SPORE JUSTICE!!!

Ahem...

There's a Grox homeworld? I've spent ages blowing the Grox up and not found a homeworld yet; I've pretty well cleared out the centre of their territory too. At any rate I've not found a really distinct-looking world of theirs.

You're not the only one.
I was searching the nearby star systems for an artifact the grox sent me to collect, and eventually found it on a T1 planet (Irrelevant information). I flew back to planet that gave me the mission (I now had my fleet and a few grox ships following me everywhere) and the second I hovered over the star system, all 5 of the grox ships opened fire. My allies were killed almost instantly and after about 6 seconds of fleeing for my life, so was I.
I know they're evil, but since I was helping them, you'd think they'd want to keep me alive, just until I finish the mission.

I had a terrible time completing missions for The Grox. I was desperately trying to ally them and so I kept going through situations like that. Once I actually had allied them, it appeared the whole Galaxy hated me. So I just ended that alliance again.

All new Empires won't hate you though, and the Grox bonus disappears again if you fare war against an Empire and then end that war.
