Default What is the most common archtype in the spore galaxy?

I want to know so I can change my archtype and have a better chance of being lalalalalala with people I meet.

There are a lot of zealots and warriors out there, mainly as they're the ones you will likely have to confront. I don't know what the actual likelihood of meeting them is.

there's also a fair number of diplomats, but they tend to like you anyway.

It may just be random, i doubt there's a sure-fire winner. If there is it'd be zealot.

TheMrZ is right - most of the archetypes exist in the same quantities, but Zealot and Warrior are maybe the most common, and are also the least friendly (other than the Grox, but there's only one empire following that archetype...).

After that, there are the friendly Traders and Diplomats, and slightly less common than Traders (but I'm not sure about Diplomats) seem to be the neutral Shamans and Scientists. Ecologists and Bards seem to be the least common of them all. Wanderers and Knights only exist as your other save games, and act almost exactly the same as Diplomats and Warriors respectively.

Ultimately, there's little difference (if there's actually any), and different regions of space might be more densely packed with empires following a certain archetype than others - for example, somewhere in the galaxy there could be lots of Bards and Traders but few Warriors and no Shamans.

There is always 2 aggressive, 1 friendly, an 1 neutral empire around your homeplanet... i think.

Only if you have a busy area. I once had a home planet in the middle of a dead zone, there was one small clump of stars near my home, and only one other empire I could reach on my mark 1 star drive, in about 6-7 jumps each way! (they were Zealots, I sucked up to them and got cheap colony packs and weapons.) My empire in this save file now has 5 allied empires around it, 4 of which they created with the monolith as there was almost nothing out there!
