yous right, maybe not creature stage tough, i think a patch (not an expansion), so you can get those cell parts and not cheat, or maybe a planet creator, possibly more building/car parts, clothes for tribe civ and space, just ANYTHING exept creature

Default Weapon creator!

GUN CREATOR!

LASERS! + CHAIN GUNS = LASER CHAIN GUNS = Fun for killing stuff in G.A

Um... yeah. You make a gun like you would make a building.

Someone tell me they would enjoy a weapon creator!

I'd love it though you would have to select whuch part of the weapon was the handle and if it was a ranged, melee or explosive weapon and so on. But still, sweet idea.

That's nice. You could combine a gas-gun and a flamethrower to make an even more deadly and further ranged flamethrower!

Why flamethrower? Well, why not? Besides, I LOOOVE flamethrowers. They're awesome!

Also it is better to have some, than abusing a jetpack for that.

Hey! That was my idea! I posted a whole thread on that a while back. It got good feedback too!

Spaceship parts that actually do something. And some emblems that give you classes. Examples: 1.hammer emblem=destroyer class. More health and firepower, and big. 2.smoke emblem=fighter class. More speed and less chance of getting hit, small. 3.helmet emblem=mothership. Complete control over ally ships, medium size.
There could be others. These parts would really affect gameplay and deal with some people's irritation that their ship is small.

Yes, actually functioning spaceship parts would be nice. I don't see a point in putting 'limbs' on your spaceship (like Crawlers) if the spaceship is never going to land anyway.

More clothing options would certainly be nice. I'd like to see some extra aquatic-style parts for that water stage everone seems to be hoping for. A few more paint/texture tools maybe?

More Outfitter parts, yes, that's a good idea. That sort of parts pack will probably be released anyway.

I don't think the spaceship parts should actually add extra functions, but if the parts at least looked like they worked then Space Stage might be a lot more interesting. For example, extra guns would look like they fire more missiles or pulses at a target (to mention one idea that I've read before).
I don't think that there should be any actual bonuses that parts add to spaceships because that would take away some of the creativity in designing spaceships and replace it with trying to make a ship with better stats (players will think "Okay, if I add another Fusion Coil then I'll travel twice as fast in an atmosphere, but my lasers will use a third more energy than before" instead of "Okay, if I add another Fusion Coil then it'll look cool. So I will," for example).

As for the idea of having different spaceship classes in the player's fleet, that might be a good idea. NPC empires already have at least three different types, why not add more variety by allowing players to do so as well (and possibly having different designs of spaceship for the different classes instead of making them smaller for fighters, etc)?

Why not add the ability to create a Cloner Ship or Mothership or something like that? You have to find like 5 parts in the Space Stage, and once you do, you'll gain access to a Spaceship part that you can add to your Spaceship. Once you do this, your spaceship will grow in size, be more powerful, but also be slower. The most important feature in this would be the ability to create Drones, or any other name for the sort of ships. So when you enter combat, smaller ships start pouring out of that Spaceship part I talked about earlier.

Like I said before, you'll need to collect the parts to create the Spaceship part first. Maybe they could add some kind of Parts Creator, which gives you, say, 15 pieces of scrap, including the 5 parts you collected and it will give you a picture of what a part is supposed to look like. Once you assemble the right pieces in the right place, you'll unlock that part in the Spaceship Editor.
